Because the fact that I'm not worried doesn't mean I'm not interested in the story.

Are your fingers not getting sore with typing mate? Keep going at this rate and you'll be a first teamer by the end of the daylol

I don't understand why he won't have the option to move to a big club if he stays with us. He's playing in a far superior league to Serie A to showcase his talents.

In Premier there's too much talent to be the one who shines on a team that won't even challenge for Champions League's berth.

Besides, after having won POY already, to draw the interest from elite clubs he'll be expected to perform at a level that it's just unrealistic.

Just watch him! He'll have a massive point to prove.

The Italian league is lame. Only one team that wins it. France and Germany the same. Spain has two or three max. The Premier League has six teams that can realistically win it year upon year. That's why it's the best league in the world (barring the champions 'league'). When we broke the mould and won the league, it only strengthened it. No better shop window than Leicster last season. The financial clout that we and the Prem now has, is what's keeping Mahrez with us.

You should stop with the "PL is the best", because on a european level you're clearly not. For years. What makes the PL tough is the fact that the best teams are actually not that far off the average ones and that's pretty much it.

Roma just said in a press conference for Kolarov and Defrel that they will not be bidding further for Mahrez

Thats the end of that then. Bye Bye SaporeDiMahrez:scarf:. Hope you've enjoyed your time on FT

Wow. Clearly that guy learned nothing from our title win.

Clubs like us don't need to accept our place anymore, pal.

I don't get what's wrong these clubs. They're desperate to have a player enough to tell us to 'know our place' and accept an offer, but not desperate enough to actually pay what we're asking.

Do they not understand the concept of a contract that has 3 years left on it?

And the concept that we're no longer a selling club.

This is true to an extent, but the weaker teams in Italy & Spain are also far worse than the ones in our league.

Arsene Wenger quoted as saying

“I rate him as a player but we have similar types with Alex Iwobi, Jack Wilshere back, Mesut Ozil ... we have plenty of the same type of players.”

Might as well just have Jack Wilshere instead of Mahrez ay...

Disagree. The top teams alluded to in my statement; Juventus, PSG, Munich, Madrids, Barca are a cut above. But the PL is by far the best league.

So tell me, SaporeDiMahrez, what more could Mahrez have shown in the CL last year? How many goals did he score and assist? How far did Leicester go? How far did Roma go?

Out of curiosity, would Roma even be able to better his wages? There's a reason so much talent is flocking to the PL ... £££££££££

Not even the richest PSG have just blown £360m on two players. Not even our richest clubs could manage it.

I'm not talking about the quality of teams within the leagues. I'm saying the Premier League is the best. The best to watch. The most exciting. The best showcase, in response to the previous Roma fans posts.
