It's not about Roma, I'm used to winger like Rodrigo Taddei so my expectations are below zero on this one.

It's about starting the season with a player that not so long ago has asked out.

Never mind us... I'm asking: is that really the spot you want to be in entering a new season?

He asked out but clearly he doesn't care about Roma. If he did he would actively try to force the move to aid your club. The thing is he is just using Roma in order to bring more attention from the bigger clubs

You really are dedicated to convincing yourself that he'll sign, aren't you? Obsessed, almost.

It's not going to happen unless Roma pay the asking price.

It's shaun from enderby on a wind-up

We should have a replacement purchased already.

Its obvious he's going.

Whether that be in the next few weeks, or even in January.

Why have we not bought one of the obvious replacements, mentioned numerous times in this forum! Most of them you can recruit for half the price we're expecting for Mahrez.

He ain't going anywhere.

Yes.

I'd be absolutely delighted to keep the miserable little pouty, sullen genius, thank you.

Even if a late bid from Chelsea comes, how exactly are you going to replace him in let's say 2-3 days?

That's why the club have said today is deadline day for Mahrez. So get your £50m yes £50m bid in now or just feck off.

A frustrated Mahrez is still better than most of the rest. So long as he's being a pro then that's all that matters.

He doesn't care but he's smart enough to know that Roma would be a great move to showcase his talent.

Problem for him is that no elite club seem to be interested; as much as Roma isn't ideal at least is a step forward.

True but how I see it, both the club and the player are in a good position. We can hold on and wait for the £50m or whatever fee we deem as acceptable and Mahrez will have the opportunity to wait for a bigger club to come along. I don't think it's any secret that he would prefer to stay in England. At some point there will be a domino effect of signings and I can see Mahrez being part of that. I'd imagine Mahrez and his agent want Mahrez to become a big star. Moving to Roma would aid that due to European football but the Premier League is the most watched league in the world. He could have an amazing 4 months and get a huge move in January.

No.

I'll be just as happy if we sign Berardi.

As stated above. Only when playing European football. He has a bigger platform in the Premier League to show off his talent than he would in Italy.

But wouldn't it be better to sign someone who believes in the project so you can build on something?

We are unlikely to sign a player better than him for what you're offering us... so, no.

Come back when Roma have won the Premier League.

Yawn, bore off mate.

We all know where we stand.

Stop making the same statements, only worded slightly differently!

Lets just see what happens

We got stung big time on Kante, so anything below 50m should just be laughed at. It is just ridiculous that Roma could even bid way below that mark and be taken seriously...

Mahrez is on a nice long contract and will not be going anywhere unless at the very least 50m is put on the table

The cl u b management must Also  know, the fans want this Mahrez business To be fair and show respect towards

Leicester city....We didnt make todays silly market, but my respect for my club Leicester, will go out the Window, if

£50 mil, at least is not the handle price...yes it can be 40+ but with accumalting add ons reaching the target £50.Mil

For the sake of the squad, , future players, and the Leicester city name, we have to hold sway and even the moral,

But also the clever ground...

If we sell for less the club will be responsible for the demotivation of the fan-base,

after last season....Yes they owe the fans a positive, shrewd, and mean path show of business nous.

Swansea are showing their hardnose side, with a less talented player, maybe its these two deals that

hold the balance for the smaller PL clubs, like ourselves....We might traditionally believe we are

Bigger than Swansea, but in this we are in the same boat.

I disagree here: England is a better platform, but Rome is the better shopcase cuz we're actually playing to win something. Even by looking at the recent transfers it can be noticed that:

- Salah was signed by Liverpool;

- Lamela by Spurs;

- Rudiger by Chelsea;

- Marcos plays for PSG;

- Benatia was off to Bayern is now plays for Juventus like Pjanic.

Will he be able to attract the liking of such clubs playing at Leicester?

So if its not about roma why the feck are you so worried. He's a LCFC player if he throws his toys out it's our problem not yours. Now go chill out in your Lazio forum and stop worrying about LCFC that's our job.

Coutinhio transfer request. Could effect this. Mahrez in and 60-70 million profit would be good business for them.

Liverpool don't need him. They just bought Salah who plays exactly the same position as Mahrez.

A move there makes no sense.

I'm not worried in fact.

Dont think Riyad could do the same job as Couthinio? We disagree there then.

What was the last thing you won??

I hope for his sake he goes nowhere near your league. It's boring and so far behind other leagues. If he goes there he will truly end his dream of playing for a BIG club.
