Looks like an Algerian fan who'd rather spend their time watching Mahrez play in Italy tbh. They really are a sad little bunch following players about instead of a club. I guess that's what happens when you don't have a decent league to watch in your own country. You end up following a player about like he's your girlfriend, being all clingy and weird. Gross.

"hit the nail on the head, how can the management not change the team to suit the ability of it's best player?"......Because if that player decides he wants to leave, or gets injured, or loses form for a season (!), your team is stuffed.  You've become a one-trick pony of a team, left playing to a strength that you know longer have.  That's why sensible management teams buy players with different skills & qualities.

How do you suggest the team should be changed? Do you just mean tactically? The 4-4-2 system might not have paid off as well last season, but it's the system in which Mahrez had his major breakthrough. If anything, that system with Kanté, Drinkwater and Vardy on form all contributed to Mahrez being as good as he was.

Either way, you don't put all your eggs in one basket. You need to play to Vardy's strengths too and account for the weaknesses in our defense. There just isn't enough technical skill in the team to support Mahrez better if you ask me.

'What he had to work with'? No doubt him, Vardy and Kanté were the standout players that year, but I find it disrespectful not to acknowledge the contribution of the whole team to their respective successes.

Deadline day for Mahrez is today apparently. No bids accepted, on his way to Arsenal - to beat them.

 

Think he'll have a blinder of a half season until December when he'll be off to another club.

 

Could be the best of both worlds for City Fans.
