(Also the photo after his was some proper obscure Iranian (?) female athlete and someone got her name instantly, just to rub salt in the wounds) They also guessed Musa as well ? To be fair Danny Mills should hang his head there
Redouane Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 He won't stop moaning until everyone stops hyping him up as the next Leo Messi. If he deserved a start, he would get it. Clearly he doesn't. And if we don't have a place for him in the starting 11, which 'better' team will?
Koke Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 7 minutes ago, Bayfox said: Probably none. As whenever he starts he is worse than when he comes on. His last start he was brilliant. He won't start again til the Liverpool cup game. If he puts in another good performance he still won't start until the next round in the cup. Irrespective of the form of Albrighton and Mahrez. Surely you understand his frustration? He's watched Mahrez play like a donkey for several months in 16/17 and yet he started every game. For the the record, I'm not entirely sure what exactly he has said or done this time to cause people's wrath.
the fox Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 Is this another thread to slate one of our players? LETS GOOOOOOOO! he doesn't track back He runs into blind alleys He always looks like he isn't happy. *wait, this is the same thing that is being said about mahrez* i mean, he is a flair player, you can't ask him to track back!

Okay not everyone, but a lot are saying he deserves to be a starter. I agree that he's a good young prospect, just not reached the level to start over the likes of Albrighton or Mahrez.

I'm watching PSG vs St Etienne as we speak, and Neymar, arguably one of the best flair players, tracks back really well.

There's also the problem that you definitely need one of them to track back. One of the reasons Mahrez and Albrighton have such a good balance is because Albrighton is so good at tracking back allowing Mahrez more freedom to join the front 2 while Albrighton tucks into midfield. It's why we also always look so shit when Mahrez and Gray both play together because we're essentially playing 4-2-4 and always just get owned down the wings. There's nothing wrong with one or two players being given freedom and not tracking back so long as you have the right players who are good enough to cover them.

For the record I agree last season i would have been seriously pissed having watched mahrez keep me out the side with his half arsed shit. But when given a shot he hasn't exaclty glowed himself. Take the goal at old Trafford out of it and I'm not sure I can remember one highlight. If he was all that he would at least show signs even in 15 min cameos. Would love him to prove me wrong but I think his attitude will stop him making it. Thinks he's Ronaldo with half the talent and end product Ronaldo had when he arrived at old Trafford let alone when he left. Will look back on a wasted career but a massive bank balance.
HankMarvin Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 So no sign of him moaning or complaining but more negative shit from so called fans, anyone would think his on loan from forest all the shit he gets

Wymsey Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 It could be that the team are supporting Mahrez more currently to make him feel more at ease during a time where he's unsure of his future - and therefore, Gray is not getting the moral support at the moment he wants and requires to keep his morale going?

Al Abbas Chicken, great episode of Curb
WelshFox93 Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 Could this be all talk by his peers like agents etc to hype up his importance? I think he is a class act but needs to bide his time just that bit longer
the fox Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 The team won't be able to play gray and riyad together unless we get some dynamic fullbacks, it is what it is. With overlapping fullbacks, you would never be outnumbered, if we have two defensive fullbacks and two wingers that don't have the work rate, you will get outnumbered no matter what, but, with an overlapping fullback you would be attacking with two players from the same flank and that creates two big advantages, number one is, the winger has to cover a lot less space because the fullback isn't standing in his own half with the CBs. And number 2, the other team's fullback would think twice about attacking. I imagine that the right side (simmo and riyad) would be exploited because mahrez doesn't have the required work rate and simmo refuses to attack! 70 minutes of rashford fallowed by martial, a fast winger with great dribbling and fresh legs! Riyad will have a bad game and get the usual treatment even though a blind man can see the problem.
Matt Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 I'd be so pissed off if we wasted him and lost him. He has a right to be pissed off with Ranieri and Shakespeare after Mahrez wasn't dropped and Gray given a chance. This season so far Mahrez deserves to be first choice, playing for a move or not, so far I think even Gray would admit Mahrez deserves to be ahead of him, but last season? No chance.
HeroFox Posted 25 August 2017 Posted 25 August 2017 Don't know what you've seen but this is the only post I saw... If anything looks like he's been told he will get some minutes tomorrow.
