The new ID checks on porn websites are a good thing that should have been done years ago.

Negativity around them is caused by right wing 'news' outlets and Labour's political opponents who complain about everything they do anyway.

You have to do ID checks to get a mobile phone, a Netflix account, and many other things. It's no different, and in fact more important with porn imo.

I understand the privacy concerns but if you're active on the internet, on social media, then privacy concerns went out the window years ago.

Wait …….. I didn’t need to verify anything to get a Netflix account

You're not watching 18 rated films without having done something. They have an age check system in place.

It is but I was coming from the angle of privacy concerns. If people are that worried then they wouldn't use anything. I question if any data is safe nowadays.

People who wrap a St Georges Flag around them, whether they are at a football match,  or protesting outside a hotel look such absolute tossers.

Just a St George's flag or any national flag?

Why just the St George’s Flag?

Why is that?

On the general topic at large now, one that bears a repost IMO:

Nationalism is the puerile veneration of real estate above principles and a fundamental weakness of the human race, with (intentional or not) zero regard for the future outside the smallest worldview. And too often it is cloaked the guise of "patriotism".

Fatawu is overrated by our fans. Don't get me wrong he's one of our best players but he's far from the finished article. Often makes poor decisions and struggles to make an impact when faced against a good 1 on 1 defensive fullback.

There's not a cat in hells chance their building reforms will lead to 1.5m new homes

I noticed she's already revised to 1.3m - I'd be amazed if they reach 1m.

They won't get above 2% growth in any financial year.

Also these welfare reform are totally reprehensible particularly when they're being instigated by a total dodgy ligger trying to purely balance the books rather than having an appreciation of the human and financial cost.

She is vile, completely clueless and dare I say the worse Chancellor we've ever had or likely to ever have - truly atrocious.

For so many dissenters my predictions are unerring coming true.

Now I think about it, why do flag feature so widely in those hotel 'protests'? Seems like a logical disconnect... unless there is an ulterior motive at play?!

Nothing wrong with the flag. But those wearing it while complaining about coloured people are idiots.

They have been completely manipulated by malign forces that they will never understand.

This whole raise the colours thing is not a grassroots movement but something run and dark money think tanks whose objectives are pretty dark.

Think about the people behind Brexit, trump, Putin, reform they're the same organisations and same funding.  Now they're doing this flags thing and dumb asses are falling for it.
