At the end of the day it's Mark's forum not a democracy. They can do what they like, it's really that simple. Nobody is a 'victim' in the true sense of the word, and the only silliness I can see is your suggestion that we all be banned from the site completely.

It may be his forum but to offer no explanation why a person has been banned from a particular topic smacks of a lack of courtesy to say the least.

Van de Ven's goal is overhyped. Very good goal and all that but apart from one player he used a decent bit of skill to get past everyone else backed off.

Agreed. He basically ran in a straight line, then hit it as hard as he could at the goal. Very little skill in it, just pace.

i also think the same about Bale against Inter Milan.... over rated. He just ran quickly and smashed it.... maybe its a Spurs thing.

 

Wonder if this topic should be in the LCFC forum with an LCFC unpopular opinions.

 

My LCFC unpopular opinion is that i think Anthony Kernockaerts goal (scorpion kick) away at Huddersfield is actually an own goal and this doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Great technique to manufacture it toward the goal but he didn't hit the target.

 

General football unpopular opinion is that my 10 year old son claims the bar and posts *are* the target.... NO! The target is the space within..... i open the floor

Need to stop facilitating the haka. All the nonsense I read about "facing it down" drives me a bit potty. For the same reason I get twitchy when Sky call for silence and force me to listen to Liverpool singing YNWA, I don't like teams being elevated over others. It's a sporting contest, get out there and play.

International breaks are important. Club football is relentless and we need a breather. Plus non-league clubs benefit on those weekends.
