That aside these players when motivated (probably by themselves) were 1 goal off 8th place having been virtual non triers for half the season. Weve since signed Ian Nacho, Maguire and Iborra; all three should improve the starting 11 if the team is managed correctly. There is no way they should be rooted in the relegation zone and seemingly devoid of both ideas and confidence. Sack Rudkin for two years of incompetence by all means. No excuse for Shakey for what’s been dished up so far. We do have good players. What’s last season got to do with anything? We were rubbish then too Agree regarding Shakey though, the jobs too big for him

Your love for him is just as strong!! Much more positive than constantly tearing a player apart even when he's not responsible for the mess. Especially when he's the most gifted one by a country mile and without whom we pretty much look shit forward.

Lestoh1 Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 The problem will be gone after tonight. EDIT: before some smart vimto drinking 12 year old posts, ONE of the problems will be gone

I expect Silva to hit the ground running. Think you are in for a shock then. Bloke wont have played any football for best part of 6 months.

Thats why refer to them in my post! To summarise for you. They finished 1 goal off 8th last season when only trying in a handful of games. They are good enough when managed correctly with the additions we have made to be knowhere near the drop zone.
yorkie1999 Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 The problem is having one style of football and then not even playing it. Where’s the excitement gone, we were play quick football well before kante arrived on the scene.
murphy Posted 16 October 2017 Posted 16 October 2017 We all know where the problem is.... ,,,A distinct lack of Rachel threads on match days! As we're playing tonight, I'll just leave this here: COYB!

Well prove it. James and Amartey can try as hard as they want, give 110% every game, but they're just not of the standard required. We won the Premier League 2 seasons ago, we've had Kante, Drinkwater, and Cambiasso in the past 3 seasons, and yet we now have the worst midfield in the division. The recruitment has been terrible, and the integration of those we have purchased has been even worse.

A technique we tried when signing Kramaric back in Jan 2015, and have gone on to develop it to perfection....

You can't moan about being negative and then praise an even more negative team picking up results.. you want one or the other. We've been far more positive than them and it's actullly been to our detriment if anything.
