Matt Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 Did we appoint Sven again? That said we are desperate in midfield. (And i'm not sure I believe that account anyway)
HybridFox Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 If true, why? The guy was well past it at United
HybridFox Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 That said we'd have one of the best wags in Ana Ivanovic
Guest Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 reminds me of the Cambiasso pick up. Past it. Leave alone.
Collymore Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 So we have an experienced ex - high quality international footballer with an excellent reputation at our training ground and all people can do is moan. He might just want to keep himself sharp and maybe pass on some knowledge to our players in return. Brilliant news if true.

FoxesDeb Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 If he'd be coming to us on a free I wouldn't complain

fazzyfox Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 Just looked at Chicago's website, he is currently weighing up his options but his first season there worked out well for both parties. Could he be looking to do what Beckham did in Italy and France and play for someone else in the (U.S) off-season? Perhaps he's doing his coaching badges, it seems too random a location to be just an offer to train with us in their off-season. If Silva wasn't happening it could make sense but with his injuries and likely salary it seems one too many even if we change shape. Having said all of that it could just be one of the new backroom staff having an uncanny resemblence to him! If it is him and he is coming to play then I presume he can't register until the window and would be available for his debut the same time as Silva (Chelsea away?) Top class midfielders, you wait all winter for one then two turn up at the same time!

Sharpe's Fox Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 Well looks people are getting what they want and we are binning 442. Shame we're sticking a potato in midfield instead.
Bilo Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 A loan seems the most likely as the MLS season is done and dusted; Henry, Beckham and Lampard have all done it over the years. I wouldn't be opposed to the move per se, I just wouldn't feel overly comfortable with him being a starter due to his infamous lack of pace and how he wouldn't fit into our system as a result.
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 His legs went a couple of year ago ... so not sure what he'd offer
SheppyFox Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 Yes please, can’t believe anyone would say no?

fazzyfox Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 It could take some pressure off Silva by diverting some attention away (with the hundreds of pages of build up he'd need to be a more mobile Iniesta with hints of Maradona and Zidane to be a one man solution), will also be a popular name have printed on a shirt, pretty expensive though!
FuchingKante Posted 28 October 2017 Posted 28 October 2017 Wouldn't read too much into this, can't find any other source
