I'm not sure a deal will be done on this one, it's a massive corruption case and there is a possibility they could go down. Not really
Wymsey Posted 14 November 2017 Posted 14 November 2017 Case will be fought against. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-41980070
Great Boos Up Posted 15 November 2017 Posted 15 November 2017 So if it takes about a year to settle out of court on about 100 million and god knows what on legal fees at the same time they are due to lose their royal warrant on the sole supply of duty free to 30 million Chinese tourists; Vichai knows it's going to hurt. The luckiest thing he ever did was buy LCFC because his stocks are high and that's why he's buying steaks in everything while the money is hot. Air Asia, OH leuven, horses, the lot. Money is power and power corrupts and.. you know the rest.

st albans fox Posted 22 November 2017 Posted 22 November 2017 I noticed that vichai watched the Man City game from his box - perhaps he has been advised to keep a lower profile and not be seen on screen on the live feed of games back to Thailand.

Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 23 November 2017 Posted 23 November 2017 They're trying to claim they haven't been charged and it's been mistranslated. They've definitely been charged, they were hoping the case would be thrown out, but that hasn't been the case. I'd avoid what's been written in the mercury, it's been fed by the club and isn't a true reflection of events.

Is there any likelihood that they'll get punished, or will this get shrugged off after a period of time?

Good chance they'll be locked up, we'll be relegated to the 2nd division, Martin George and Barry Pierpoint will be running the club and Peter Taylor the manager, Good thing though they'll be no problems getting tickets and it'll be pay on the gate.
