If he hadn't have been carried off the pitch, the ref would have booked him. Still hope he makes a speedy recovery. Thats how you do it, Donut. instead of making yourself look like a bit of an idiot.

I am not saying we all need to cry and send him money but Jesus Christ what;s wrong with some of us? If you think it is a silly thread then fair enough but can't you just ignore it? I wish him a speedy recovery, I hope that doesn't make me some sort of plastic or lefty, commie do-gooder twat? X tell me about it mate pathetic

Donut Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 Be interesting if it was lee cattermole or joey barton possibly kicking someones leg off and getting injured rather than a guy who people seem to like for no real reason.

If him AND maguire were injured it would be different reaction. Just lucky maguire isnt.
sk3since03 Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 Unlucky that. For him and Burnley! Hoping he has a speedy recovery! In fairness though seeing the challenge it’s no fault but his own

Some of the comments on here . Brady, to my knowledge isn't a player who is renowned for making reckless tackles or going out with the intent of hurting a player. If he has history then please correct me on this. He didn't injure Maguire so there's no point talking discussing ifs and buts. The only loser from all of this is Brady. I am sure when the dust settles he will be punishing himself for a stupid lunge. Nothing wrong with offering a speedy recover to him.
Jaspa Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 Brady and Maguire were together at Hull a while ago, they looked friendly enough on the tunnel cams too and Maguire is an Irish name too int'tit Bar Mendy we've done incredibly well to avoid losing players to horror injuries in recent times
urban.spaceman Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 How ****ed would we be if he'd injured Maguire instead of himself?!
HighPeakFox Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 I'm heartened to be disagreeing vehemently with Donut once more. The world is safe again.

FLAN Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 I thought he just shaped to shoot and Maguire nicked it and he then caught him. No intent on either part just unfortunate. saw one article on how disgusted Burnley players were with challenge???

shen Posted 6 December 2017 Posted 6 December 2017 Quite a few serious injuries to oppo players in games against us in recent seasons. Mings, Wilson, Gradel, De Bruyne, Brady and more? Probably just coincidence though...

I still don't really want to rejoice in anyone's injury, even if I don;t like them much (though not liking a footballer you have never met in person seems a bit weird). I don;t particularly "like" criminals but I don't wanna stand there at the prison bars laughing at them. There is a difference between "not being too fussed" and actually appearing happy someone is injured. You seem to have verged on the latter. I know you don;t care about him but why bother posting. If some people want to say "get well soon" how on Earth can that in any way be negative? Anyway, we don;t agree and that is fine, it takes all sorts. X

Im just not sharing in the sad sentiments towards him. He was being reckless and dangerous with his actions and came off worse because of it. If it wasnt his fault or maguire did him id certainly feel sorry for him. But not when he instigated his own injury

X I said it at the time because i had him following every post i ever made. Obviously it wasnt a good thing to say. Not much point in a second chance. It doesnt undo what i said, nor will it make me and him friends. Or his followers. I just stay out the way of him and his posts its better.
