I'm still concerned at who replaces Vardy if and when he's rested. If it's Ulloa then I think the Puel masterstrokes of late will surely run out of steam, he's just not conductive to the fast free flowing football we now play. I've learnt of late to not get too worked up and see what happens but it would be an obvious weakness if we were to fail to win and Ulloa has started. Vardy probably could do with a breather but we've Iheanacho, Slimani and Musa getting nowhere near the bench.

Think Claude had a brief look to see if Demi could on Wednesday night?

Not really a crap post though is it .I suggest you re-watch the goal , he jogged towards the back post then stood there whilst the free kick was taken and was virtually in the same position when Harrry fired  it back in  .  I give you the fact he wasn’t picked up but  that was down to poor defending not  due to his fantastic movement . It was a simple set piece goal nothing more nothing less it was hardly a world class piece of football . The only class bit  was when Harry  chested it down , turned and fired in a cross  and even then he was given too much space .  People keep going on about his goal like it was something top draw I will repeat myself it was a simple set piece goal that any footballer payed thousands of pounds a week  should have been able to put in .

I think you are getting me muddled up with someone else baldy ...   I've never said it was a world class piece of football, ...   yes it was a tap in but he was there to score it ...  the same player that was slammed before the match but in fact played his part in a storming performance and scored a goal ...   the guy just can't win can he !    As for 'Harrry' ..   he needs to tighten up his defending from set pieces ...     we can all nit pick all day ...    we won ffs !! ...      One of the best performances of the season ...   be happy !!!

No not mixed up you said it was similar to some of the worlds top  poaching  goal scorers I wouldn’t call it world  class that’s all . And I totally agree with Harry has got to improve at set pieces but he’s young and steadily improving. And I’m happy we won but I just think some people have gone a bit over board with his performance saying how great he was . It was ok nothing more nothing less

Its that sort of overconfidence that would lead to Palace scoring their first away goal and winning their first away game.

I'm hoping Claude and the boys aren't as arrogant going into it!

Good job he's not playing then ?

This game will be like Burnley at home imo. They are going to be hard to break down they do have tricky wingers though, and can cause problems from set pieces, we need to be mindful of that, but at the same time impose our game and if we get an early goal go for the kill and really punish them.

Bet 365 have City at 9/10 tomorrow to win.

Short odds yes, but might be worth a few quid?

Imagine the reactions on here if the team failed to win against these..

Too many people talk in these terms sadly.

Im not saying you do wyneswoldfox just using the quote to highlight the opinions some leicester fans hold.

The quality in the premier league is at its broadest level i can remember. Literally anyone can beat anyone these days man city apart.

Theres not much point looking at fixture lists plotting where to take points... its tough to call. West ham have took 4 points from 3 games people thought theyd get 0, yet lost to brighton, everton, couldnt beat palace etc.

So whilst id be disappointed if leicester lost, a palace win or the draw would not surprise me.

He didn't say it was world class he said that it's the kind of goal world class players score. He might have been just stood at the back post in your eyes with no class movement. But surely instead of moaning he just jogged there and stood still you should praise him for slyly slipping into the space at the back post where he remained unmarked to secure an easy tap in.

Also he played well. Every single person in the team played a lot more than ok. It was a fantastic performance from every player on the pitch.

What's not to be happy about bud? We're playing some lovely football and it's great that we've got a studious respected (by the players) manager who also believes in youth. Yes happy fookin happy clap clap :P

He COULD play with a rotating front 3 without a striker at some point.

He had gray playing in a false 9 position at southampton for about 15 mins and while it wasnt as effective, maybe its something he has considered.

I’m not moaning just pointing out people are getting carried away with his performance . I would expect any professional footballer to make that kind of movement . I wouldn’t call it slyly either either it was poor defending . Plus I haven’t slated him I’ve just said he played ok which he did .

If he slips in back post unmarked he's done well No? The same as when David Silva does it. Yea it's not great defending but it's also intelligent play.

Since that game we've beaten them 3 times and drawn once lol they're a funny side Palace, do have this knack of pulling a surprise win out the bag, but we should have too much.

It just feels like we do bad, hate it ad am away game also, awful place to get to and park

They're decimated at the back from what I read, so we will score. Question is how will our defense hold it, we still struggle at keeping clean sheets.

We're also shit at set pieces. I hate set pieces. Frigging set pieces.

3-1 home win.

We seem to be bad at taking set pieces as well as defending them. How many corners either:

- Go out

- Don't beat the first man

- Are too long

- Are some sort of half-arsed short effort that just fizzles out.

Rarely seem to offer much threat from them these days to the point that I don't get very excited when we get one. More just a resumption of play.

Seemed much more threatening in the past when Morgan and Huth came up. We now have some big lads in midfield as well so ought to be able to at least scare them a bit.

I'd like to see Nacho start with instructions to work his bollocks off like Vardy does. We need to give him some time to see what he can do. Bring Jamie on as early as half time if it isn't working out.

Yeah he could but I really don't think he needs to given what we have not even getting on the bench. Iheanacho deserves a bit more persistence before we write him off. With 3 creative players behind him he could have some joy.

vardy works with the three behind because he stretches the back four or they drop deep. Either way, there is therefore loads of space for the three to break into and get between the lines of defence and midfield. From what I've seen of kelechi so far, he seems to be the type to come short all the time and the pitch will become very congested
