Watched them lose to Bristol City in the Cup, they have very talented and quick players, but Bristol battered them, won all the 50/50's, demoralised them, but what stuck me as impressive is Bristol had so much more tempo, after the 90 had gone the Bristol players consoled the Palace players who looked utterly destroyed. If we are going to beat Palace, we need to out muscle them and beat them physically as Bristol did.

Two teams in form.

Given our recent run, we should be looking to win this.

May be a white knuckle ride but I'm predicting 3 points with a victory by the odd goal in 5.

Rather we beat Spuds physically.

Prepared to personally finance the purchase of 11 baseball bats .

Absolutely... really ... the genuine article! ?

Sounds alien to soooooooo many on here, but I hope Schluppy plays a blinder (on the losing side of course, but still a blinder!) .... just ‘cos I love the bloke to bits for the memory of ‘that’ season ....

You're not the only one mate! I have only fond memories of Schlupperman (erased all the bad ones lol ) so wouldn't mind him playing a blinder at all ... provided that we bang them, of course!

They're not in bad form. And may be coming into better. But we're playing good football, have a good spirit and great form.

If we're going to keep up the chase for sixth this is a must win.

We're on fire, have 7 goals in our last 2 games and are up against a side in the bottom three (I think?) who haven't scored in 10 away games.

1-1.

After what we've just done, playing palace in front of the home fans should not fill anyone with the slightest concern.

You are right but we are Leicester fans, we always fear it will all go to s**t

An early goal is massive here. If they get a jammy set play goal they'll sit on it for the entire game. We're getting better at breaking teams down and Jeff will likely play LB, but we could do without the headache by getting at them early.

City written all over this, get some great results against decent sides, then lose to palace lol

I hope we beat these, cannot stand their plastic ultra fans, up their with the most disliked club for me.

And watch your flags, these thieving bastards have history of pinching them lol

Set pieces is the biggest worry. Roy knows what he's doing and he'll be working on attacking set pieces in training. Zaha is the other worry.

I think they'll set up to frustrate us and try to keep it a scrappy game. If we can get a foothold in the game though I think Vardy, Gray and Mahrez will prove too much for them. Sakho being out is also a big plus for us.

We can't take a win for granted but I'm optimistic we'll get the job done.

We are playing great football at the moment and shouldn't fear anyone. Palace will come here and try and defend for long periods of the game and keep it tight while hoping to nick a goal. but we have plenty of players that can hurt them, we just need to be defensively sound and not give any sloppy balls away. i would like us to keep possession of the ball and play it around and frustrate them. we have so many players at the moment that they will need to keep an eye on and we should be winning games like this which for the last few games we have been doing.

This is the very type of game we’re famous for losing - a team in a relegation scrap when we’re playing well. Think they will nick a goal, going to go with a 1-1 draw

Not promoted".... saved from relegation!

I wonder how much difference the extra 24 hours rest will help Palace. It may have benefitted us last night, as Saints played on Sunday. I'm quite sure our leader will be aware of this, so there will be more rotation. That said, when you are winning and playing as well as we are I suspect fatigue is suddenly less of an issue!

Both teams should be confident, Palace with their pace have troubled us in the past especially the threat of Zaha.

Schmeichel

Simpson - Morgan - Maguire - Fuchs

Mahrez - Ndidi - Iborra - Gray

Okazaki

Vardy

Harsh on Chilwell and Albrighton but you can't drop Shinji again after last night, out of Gray and Albrighton, Gray has been playing slightly better and deserves to get the nod. Fuchs over Chilwell purely based on experience.

Have to be wary of their pace and they're capable of scoring from set pieces, but I'll go with a 2-1 win.

Milivojevic is suspended for them, he’s one of their better players.

My only concern is the diving Zaha, to get a cheap penalty

We also need to be switched on from set pieces against them.

If they do........Up steps Benteke to pass it into Kaspers arms :)

Personally I feel we'll have far too much with our form and momentum for them and their fan boys! 4-0 win is my prediction.

Can really see this as going to be the biggest home win in a while.

Even if they put even put everyone behind the ball, we still have players that know know to get around compact defences.

Weirdly nervous for this... not sure if it's the fact I was dreaming of 4/4 with the run we had of Burnley/Newcastle/Soton/Palace to propel us up there.

As someone mentioned I'd be genuinely edgy if we got near the end and it was close. You don't have that many late shows by luck, I'd argue, and I want to try and avoid us being victim to their late minute resurgence once again.

A win would pitch us up nicely with Man Utd and Liverpool over the Christmas period in the league. If we have any ambitions of the top 5/6/7 we should be coming through this easily.

I share that concern.
