Wymsey Posted 14 December 2017 Posted 14 December 2017 Reckon Schlupp will get embarrassed if he plays.
Popular Post CollinsLCFC Posted 14 December 2017 Popular Post Posted 14 December 2017 Hope Jeff gets confused and starts running with the ball towards the palace goal. 1 5
Donut Posted 14 December 2017 Posted 14 December 2017 This is a tough game. Palace are improving under hodgson and are in decent form. Late weds early saturday is tough on the legs too Narrow leicester win
ealingfox Posted 14 December 2017 Posted 14 December 2017 They've not scored a goal in 10 away games so they'll score on Saturday. Get your house on it.
Gazza M Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 I think the players and us as fans must not get carried away with our recent success and go in to this believing all we have to do is turn up. These have been scrapping for weeks for points and have quality in certain areas. We need to be at our very best again if we are to win make no doubt about it.

He can rest "rest" Chilwell against Palace and Zaha, leaving a more experienced Fuchs to mark him in that one. Whenever I see Zaha, he's terrorising right backs.

Any highlights I see of them though he usually seems to be being taken out by a right back haha. Whoever is marking him anyway, if they can keep him quiet then we will have very little else to worry about.

Zaha is a talent but an absolute show pony at times. He's more intent on seeking contact than moving the ball on and as soon as it looks like he's losing a tussle he tangles legs with the defender and swan-dives. How the ref gauges his antics will be crucial, if Zaha's anything like last season he'll be the panto villain / laughing stock again. I remember he switched wings at half time last season so from Our seats we had a close up look and running banter with him throughout. I'm sure he could use his ability more effectively if he stopped trying to do it all himself, looked up more often and saw that the games about more than winning set pieces and getting your marker booked twice Absolutely despise parrot face Hodgson after his attitude to our players and to his mis-management of the euro's. That the game he tried to silence people by doing some tricks messed up and got put on his arse by mahrez in the space of about 20 seconds?
Ric Flair Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 These lot are dog shit, we need to punish them. Ok they could get a result and that early Saturday kick off does throw up surprising results but we need to carry on the unbeaten run.
les-tah Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 Zaha will terrorise Fuchs and we will be all on here Saturday afternoon says 'fuchs is finished'

He's the danger man so if we keep him quite I think we have the quality to handle this game. Chilwell may not be best pic against Zaha so Fuchs gets nod ahead, think it will be a mistake to drop Ndidi but I do think we should go with a similar starting line up to Newcastle... 4-2-3-1 Simpson, Morgan, Maguire and Fuchs Ndidi and Iborra Gray, Mahrez and Albrighton Vardy

By the rotation of 'resting their aged legs' excuse due to the recovery time between games probably! But its a fair point - they played well.

Stevosevic Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 I think we'll see King and Iborra in the middle for this one.
AKCJ Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 I know this is the case in every game of football but getting an early goal tomorrow will be massive.

Countryfox Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 With Mr Rotationator at the wheel the question is what team and formation will we see ... we ought to have (perhaps on a separate thread) a "Guess the team/formation" competition ... the winner could receive 100 FoxTalkBitCoins and at the end of the season cash them in for rep points or whatever ...

Clever Fox Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 This might be the game to rest Vardy and go with Slimani. They will go 442 trying to keep us out, which will make it difficult for Vardy. I'm not sure we can afford to rest Ndiddi as who is going to win the Ball in midfield. I'm sorry but King isn't going to do it. I'd go with Amartey, He's similar in style to Ndiddi and has the legs to match Zaha. Alternatively he could play RB and rest Simpson. I'd also rest Albrighton. We need him at his best for the Cup Match. I'd go with Kasper Simpson Morgan Maguire Fuchs Amartey or Ndiddi Iborra Mahrez Slimani Okazaki Gray
Guest TaggertvsWise Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 The way we are playing I cannot see us losing. Even if Hodgson sets them up well. They are limited we are not. What is it that Mike Tyson said... "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." 3-0.
Farrington fox Posted 15 December 2017 Posted 15 December 2017 This game is tricky, early kickoff, Palace will be up for it after Tuesdays win. And Zaha is on fire. Does Puel stick with Shinji, would be difficult to drop him now. Will Demari be on the bench again! Selection dilemma I’d say.
