For me this a really key fixture. A win and we can look positively on where we are but a defeat and with the next three games looking tricky to get any/many points we could be sucked back into the dog fight against relegation before we know it.

They have picked up a lot and despite the comments on here Roy is no idiot when it comes to club management. They will be well organised and in Zaha not only have a dangerously quick player but one who falls over in the penalty area more than most.

Hope we can win but I'm taking nothing for granted.

Expect them to sit back. Expect us to play Gray to add extra trickery going forward.

A few factors make me worry about this:

They've had an extra day's rest.

They've had far less travelling over the past week.

They have no midweek game next week like us so have less need to rotate.

They're great at set pieces, we can't defend them.

Really tricky selection for CP today, I think. Whilst I can see the temptation to rest the likes of Vards, Riyad and Ndidi, I feel that would have a huge impact on our effectiveness. And if we mess up  this game, we could suddenly hit a bad run with Man City, ManUre, Watford (A) and Liverpool our next 4 games.

I'm hoping the fact that those who played on Wednesday all still have plenty left in the tank after they were largely able to coast through the second half. And of course we had the luxury of taking off Vards and Riyad for the last 20.

Generally a tight game v these and suspect it'll be the same again. Would be great if we can kill the game early again, though! COYF!

Funnily enough me and a mate discussed the fact that Simmo has never scored for city so I checked his odds. 66-1, even dragovic is 50-1 and highly unlikely to get on!

gonna have a quid on simmo every game now it has to happen one day

Using the same logic I always have a quid on us to win 4-0. I think it willl happen today.....

They've had an extra day's rest.  Should make little difference to professional athletes.

They've had far less travelling over the past week.  We will have flown - or is it jet-lag you're worrying about?

They have no midweek game next week like us so have less need to rotate. They have an injury crisis in a poor squad - rotation isn't even an option for them.

They're great at set pieces, we can't defend them. So good that they haven't scored away all season.

Tough one this.

They have had extra recovery, lack of travel fiasco with us arriving home by coach at 4am and no cup quarter final.

On the other hand we have Mahrez.

If they haven't scored a single goal away from home, can't see us conceding.

Cheers for that!...

They're now guaranteed to score.

Reminds me of the West Ham stat a few weeks back - they hadn't scored in the first half at home this season (five games) - and the commentator kept quoting the stat after Albrighton put us ahead. Of course, we let them score right on half time and chucked away two points when we should have wrapped up the victory long before.

I’ve been in hospital all this week getting chemotherapy of all things. Got my laptop all set up to watch on Sky Go should be a welcome change.

Think we can put a few past them today if we play open football as we have been. Slightly concerned on set pieces but hoping for a convincing win and Spurs & Burnley losses

Sorry to hear that Monk - hope the stay in hospital helps.
