Yes and the amount of people moaning that they cant get tickets for away games, 3 empty rows behind me at Watford

Really I was trying to get a ticket for this and was told it was sold out

Those odd seats dotted around suited me great with my city and silver membership. I could only get to games that suit my circumstances.

First year in many where I have not renewed.

Too much money to go into a ballot. Or I've misunderstood?

Also found it strange how I got placed around different blocks.

Genuine question. How?

If you had gold you started with a minimum 5 more points than my 2 silver unless you never used your gold at all last season.

I've managed to get tickets for every games this season via the points system and we started below the minimum window for the 1st few games ok we got lucky via the ballot for the 1st game but since then we have had no issues at all. Even on the lowest level there are always plenty of tickets to choose from.

This is the problem.  I only bought 4 tickets last season... so i dont have enough points ... so the ballot is my only option.

You see the scheme rewards attendance... i just wanted to have priority for when i buy  an odd ticket or twoor three.  I will never have loads of points.  I was happy to pay for the privalage but the morons see the schene as just aimed at admirable folk like you.... they forgot about me!!

I'd have gone to Watford if tickets had gotten down to my priority but yeah, the website said they were all gone. That's a real pisstake if it hadn't actually sold out. Why would they do that?

As a member, have to say if you are organised and plan your dates, I have got tickets for every home game bar Chelsea.it is expensive, but clearly it works if you keep on top of it....

no system is flawless, but it works for me, albeit expensively so....

I'm not entirely sure how the system works but I hear nothing but bitterness about the membership schemes. I can understand people being bitter paying to be a member and not getting tickets but at the end of the day if you went when we were sh*t you'd have no problems. I understand some people lived in different parts of the country when we were sh*t but that's just the way it is.

I was annoyed that they didn't take into account home (and away) CL games attended last season in membership loyalty points this season. I think they did League Cup games or something.

In my situation i was a gold member last season, and effectively buying that level of membership suited me. I can see how a flat loyalty points system is fairer for most, but seeing as I can't get to that many games it doesn't suit me.

They will never come up with a scheme that suits all. To be fair I'm able to get home tickets that I want, and have also been successful in all my away ballot applications.

I have to say there is little point replying to any consultation. They will just do what they want!

Usually I'd agree with the last point but iirc the away ballot scheme was a suggestion by a FCC member so it's always worth replying if it matters to you.

Slightly off topic but the biggest bug for me last season was the club asking you to stump for all three CL group games upfront and then giving you no priority to buy tickets for the knock out games. Miracle that I got Sevilla tickets, didn’t get a look in for Atletico. Only game o have t been able to get two tickets for this season was Man United, all in all with the discount on tickets I’ve probably recouped the membership fee now. Had zero luck getting away tickets, more bothered about them increasing the capacity so I can just get a season ticket and be done with it!

Do you think that paying for a chance of a ticket is a fair deal out of interest?

Why is this an unfair deal out of interest?

If you can justify it I'm all ears. Someone could pay £60 and not get to a single game.

But they enhanced their priority.

And they felt it worthwhile as a tradeoff so paid the money.

So we started off at the same level. 19 points therefore really all.you needed to do was get 1 ticket to get yourself back in the frame.

Plus as nearly every game has gone to general sale with the exception of the man Utd game and maybe a couple of others or certainly allowed members and season ticket holders to buy additional tickets there must have been the odd game where you could have shifted an extra ticket to get yourself back in with the option of buying others when needed.

Like the admirable comment but my membership is there to help out mates. I have 3 season tickets for myself and my kids and a membership in my wife's name for if she ever wants to join us.(she never does) so my mates get use of it when ever they ask.

I'm looking forward to hearing what is discussed at this.

What can be said other than.

It's too expensive and how the **** did you decide to award points for league cup ties yet the champions league points didn't count towards initial totals.

I can't see what else there is to discuss whatever you think of it.

Only other thing in general is the club issuing relocation notices to people ie families or 1 seat holders moving so instead of having loads of 1 seats they create 2s and 3s together. But I've no idea how practical that is and how many seats it would free up.

I do like the fact you have to actually use your ticket before the point is awarded. Even if it is a frstration when you have brought 2 tickets for the month but don't get any advantage for the following months fixtures until games have been played which is normally to late.

like i say, no system will please everyone, but if you are organised and keep up with it it actually works.......it is completely correct that Season ticket holders are looked after.....they have reacted, invested and rewarded......as a Member, its way more expensive than buying an ST, but its my own responsibility, not the clubs.....they will have targets for Season Ticket sales, % Capacity (Must be 99% full every week), weighing up the true benefit from increasing capacity over return on investment.....all need consideration....but the fact is a sell out generates around £1.2m every fortnight (away every other week) a drop in the ocean, in terms of players wages.....therefore 3 empty rows at Watford can't and never will be priority....running the business will always come first.....reckon our membership scheme is about right, maybe £20 too expensive.....you simply won't please all the people all of the time.....

Personally I think the scheme itself is fine but it's not justifying to pay to get onto it. The club don't need the revenue. Make it £20 or so to cover costs and that's it, they make enough cash selling the tickets themselves.

If you want tickets then yes. Funny how everyone wants tickets now we'r back in the big time?

And everytime this gets brought up, it's always mentioned how the loyal fans who can't get a season ticket for whatever reason, miss out. The membership scheme is piss poor and there's no alternative so for once, I think people are entitled to complain.

Heres one for you then, it'll be interesting to see the attendence next week against Fleetwood lets see how many of those members and fans who cant get tickets for normal games go

It'll be next to non - fact.

Of course that will be a low attendance. It's a midweek game, in a competition we're not prioritising, with a second string side against a tiny team. There will be a lot of season ticket holders not going so that doesn't relate to the point I was making.

The people who really get screwed over are the loyal fans who stuck with us when we were dog but can't commit to going every week or couldn't get a season ticket. Anyone who lives near Leicester, with the opportunity to go and has suddenly taken an interest in the last few years, can do one when it comes to tickets. Yet they now have the same opportunity to buy tickets as the guy who lives 500 miles away and still went to see us play in League 1.

So basically you've just proved my point. If they wanted tickets that badly they'll be there for Tuesday. Build points up move higher up the system no?

Yeah, you're absolutely right. I'm sorry that I for example live in south west London so 2+ hours away on the train and that I can't be bothered to send £150+ on train tickets, then get a hotel (so that's another £100)  because there's no trains back then have to get up a silly o clock to get to work and somehow function? I guess I don't deserve the chance to buy a ticket but somebody who lives 5 mins away and only remembered Leicester had a football team when we got back to the top flight, does?

Very disappointing that the CL games didn't count towards your points. A lot of people had to choose between the CL& PL games, I certainly had to due to the cost of flights and travel over. Last season I attended the fewest league games ever due to the CL. The cost of membership is also too high for what you're now being in return. I need to plan in advance so have no choice but to pay up.
