Should have sold Mahrez

Listening to Talksport today, they are banging on about how Leicester should have sold him and they Leicester are hypocrites as we sacked 2 managers. We could of got 65m and a 30m man city player. Now we have got a vital player who does not want to play for us. They reckon we have not been fair with Mahrez as he asked to leave and been patience for a year. My god the whole thing is a utter mess now, it's going to effect the team tomorrow as it did against Everton. Everything was looking pretty Rosie for Leicester last week, look at us now.

then why did he sign a great contract instead of running his old one down.

Would we have got 65mill and a 30m player? I thought the difficulty was the fact Man city would only offer £60m with no player and we didn't want to sell because we have no replacement. 

 

Fair enough if someone came in for him at the start, but you don't want to do a Liverpool and sell your best player to end up panic buying a player for over the amount because your desperate.

I heard it and thought Durham was talking an unbelievable level of crap today. One caller rang up, explained everything to them and got the usual "ideas above their station" garbage which is a shame really because Durham's actually defended us a few times, when we sacked Ranieri for example.

The ideas above our station line is mental. Was bad with the Ranieri sacking, but more appropriate then than now. This is just us not getting taken advantage of financially.
