This would be a class signing, however if he’s surplus at United I can see him going back to Spain sadly.

Another name I’m hearing who may be available is Kurt Zouma, surely a loan deal here would be a good bit of business? He can’t be too picky about where he goes as he went to Stoke last season! ?

Shaqiri on his day is class but his attitude stinks, you can see the arrogance ooze out of him.

Sisto could be a good shout haven’t Vigo gone down? Maybe Kasper can have a word at the World Cup.

Zouma? Hope that’s a joke he’s been atrocious.

John Harriott is ITK ;). Glad to see he's back on Twitter after his break in North Africa. I see Jonny Evans was moving to Spurs on deadline day in January...

Oh, they tried. And how they tried.

Bayern München - "Everything but Bayern would be a step back!" Leaves Bayern after two and a half years for Inter, this following issues with new manager Pep Guardiola and his tactics in 2014

FC Internazionale - "Inter needed money" - leaves Inter after five months and one goal in 15 matches for Stoke, because Mancini preferred Hernanes over him in attacking midfield, and because "Stoke could offer better wages than Dortmund or Schalke 04" (quote Shaqiri)

Stoke City - "We don't have enough quality in this team" - leaves Stoke after two years

See, I adore his talent and he's a funny guy, but he's also a bit of a troublemaker and moody and as ill-advised as Riyad.

Guardiola and Mancini both put a big emphasis on tactics and strategic thinking - in Shaqiri's case, that's asking a lot.

I hear you but moody yes, troublemaker no. I’m not going into details but people have got him totally wrong.

I’ve been a member of this forum for nearly 14 years and have never once claimed to know something I don’t, I just happen to know a bit about this but I’ll just keep it to myself then I won’t get this joker quoted at me ?

we’re not going to buy a top level no.10, are we? I can see this window becoming more and more fustrating, as it heads to a close. I bet we end up with; Pereria, Evans, Shaqiri (to play on the right side, following Mahrezs departure) and some unknown young French dude - who’s not quite a striker, not quite a winger, but definitely not a no.10 !

Oh, he's been known to throw tantrums when things don't go his way and when he feels he's being constricted, in the sense of sulking and blaming everybody else around him most of all.

Also not of the brightest sort. :ermm:

But good to hear we're talking with his brother about a possible move. Still think they're money-grabbers most of all.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree here ? the Shaqiri I know is different to yours. He’s also more intelligent than the average footballer, I’ve found.

Behave ?

A female Swiss-German TV presenter once did an extended piece on Xherdan and came to the following conclusion:

"His thighs are as thick as my neck. All of Xherdan's blood must be concentrated in his thighs, because he only replies to half to the questions you ask him and he jumps from one topic to the other."

lol

presuming Madison comes in, who else?

Evans might be the only other signing, unless a 'Mahrez Replacement' is actually available

Priorities:

GK (Hamer replacement)

CB (Huth replacement)

RW (Mahrez replacement)

Wishful:

LB (Move Fuchs to 4th choice CB)

LW (Not keen on Gray, but that’s my personal opinion)

What about Zinchenko, seems a bit suruplus to requirements at Man City, could also provide cover at left back

Tbf, aren’t we well covered at left back, at the moment with Fuchs and Chillwell ?

With Fuchs leaving next year wouldn’t be bad idea to get someone in and give them time to develop though?
