Nothing would happen overnight!

tanner was already briefed that nothing will happen pre Saturday evening but that could just be a ‘holding pattern’ by the club.

They aren’t going to sack him on the day of the awards so pretty sure he’s here to West Ham. That’ll be fun when we go 2 down.

Baffling!

Why you spend so much time on here. Has the internet not reached Burnley yet.

If you had read some of the posts on here you would know why some people want him gone.

Ok I’ll take this as a genuine question. It isn’t the league position, it’s the trajectory and seeming hopelessness of our play at present. Many of us are seriously concerned about possible relegation next season.

A bit of new manager bounce, then worse and worse performances, dressing room unrest at his methods, and literally no idea of what team he will pick next.  Going out with a whimper.

Haha I've wondered this.

The guys in a position where he's evidently not arsed about enjoying watching his side like we are, as he's watched Burnley shithouse their way to 7th so I doubt he cares how they've done it.

The shame is,we already have...These last 2 seasons we have shown zero respect to other Clubs,

wrong people, jumping in and bringing down the positive Character of this forum,we had over

so many years. Wry, dry, caustic humour and wit has slowly been taken over from spiteful immature

comments. It aint any longer good, humerous or clever banter....

We are in danger of becoming the "nobodies"...

A guy won us the Premier league and we sacked  him so 8th-9th won’t save him!

Agreed, but it is possible to comment that Burnley have shithoused their way to many of their results and at the same time admire their effort and resolve (if not their silky skills and intricate passing) which have propelled them to a fantastic position in the league.

In a way similar to our achievements  in 2015/2016, they have shown that you can beat so-called superior opposition with the right tactics, a whole lot of effort and the stars aligning your way when they have to.

Not in the slightest bit envious of burnley at all, they've been tremendous this season and fully deserve to be where they are, and it's all down to dyche, I hope they manage to bring in the right players to give Europa a good go and still do well in the league, we saw how hard it was to juggle Both Europe and domestic football, good luck to them

Please don't compare spurs fans being bitter on losing out on the title by 10 points to the best side in the league, to me criticizing a team who have scored 15 times in 18 home games.

Bitter that they're in Europe and not us, yes. Spursy? No.

Burnley are competitive in every game they play and have picked up enough points to comfortably finish 7th. We are a shambles, and have just lost 5-0 at Crystal Palace. Only one of us deserves to be in Europe, and it ain't us. No point being bitter about it.

Correct. Fair play to Burnley.

If you can find where I said that we deserve European football and not them then I'll hold my hands up.

I'm bitter (maybe the wrong word) that we aren't going round Europe following Leicester. That's all.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I'm still pissed off about it, but it's down to our own failings- we just have to say fair play to Burnley for taking their chance.

It shows our ambition if nothing else. We have very rich owners and want to be the top of 'best of the rest in 6th/7th' and potentially even challenging the bigger boys eventually!

I think with what happened with Puel at Southampton, we are seeing exactly why they made what many thought was a strange decision. The writing was on the wall then and I know you could argue look at Saints now, but I can't help think that he is partly responsible for their downfall and I am now concerned that he is having a damaging, negative impact on this team and it may take a while to correct if we leave it too long to make a change.

I am not demanding we finish 6th every season and we should sack every manager who doesn't get us that, but I do want to have a manager in charge where things look to be improving or we can at least see sense in most of his decisions, whether or not they always work or not.
