I'm Puel out but this circus needs to stop! We can't keep juggling away managers like a Sunday league team! The ones who are responsible need to take responsibility, including the players.

thats my thinking with it all, clearly more wrong at the club than the manager,

I'm more depressed about it. Dont think he is the right man but bored of all the sackings

I'm really torn.

I think he would do okay long term with the money to build a team that can play in a way he wants, the other half of me is screaming that he just isn't a right fit for the club and will end up getting sacked early next season anyway so we might aswell cut our losses.

I like the bloke. His philosophy on passing, working the ball out from the back and playing the youth is something I've wanted for a long time. But it just isn't working with these players and it seems our players have become too powerful as our last 3 managers have done the same thing over and over picking players that don't deserve it.

I honestly think we need a big nige style manager who will kick the door down and tell anyone who disagrees to get on their bike.

Benitez would be the obvious candidate given the position at Newcastle.

Yeah, and I've just put £5k on Puel to be the next sacking. DPMO.

It's not only the players. The owners must deal with disgruntled fans too. I like Puel and his vision and unlike 90% of the (uninformed) wolves here who bashed him since he ever was appointed, I think he could have done a good job for our transitional phase. But I now understand you have to deliver in the EPL and keep the mob remotely happy in the short term to survive.

He failed to do that and connect with the fans. The trashing against a relegation threatened side will be the hammer blow. I'd be amazed that the owners don't pull the trigger this week.

I'm on the Puel out side of the camp, but it's only on the basis that I know our players don't want to play for him, and as much as I want a clear out of 8+ players I can't see it happening.

Claude would be decent long term with his own team. But with the current team he will never get them on side and offloading them all is probably not going to happen.

It's a shame because I like his philosophy. Every week I watch the dross we deliver and want him out then sit back and watch his extended interviews post match and can't help but get a bit of hope back that he does want to take us in the right direction.

But we know the reality. The players call the shots now and so far puel has failed to reign them in.

I think he needs to go into the boardroom and basically say "It's toxic as shit in there and I want a clear out. I want x y and z players and I will deliver."

Something tells me he's the opposite and will work with whatever he's given without complaining.

Tricky one. Owners will want to show support and solidarity for what was a very low key appointment. However, results and performances have tailed off considerably which can't be ignored. There is no need to keep or dismiss based on league opportunities. Well be beaten presumably in all 3 remaining fixtures so is it easier to make the call then, on a worse picture? Or, they truly believe in the guy and are happy to give him the chance to build. For me doesn't have enough charisma to succeed the role let alone abject performances.

Barmy though I may be, it would genuinely be knowing that, that would make me return to the KP. I can’t be arsed with the club at the moment so haven’t been all season. I still think Puel might be ok tactically, but he’s dull as fookin ditch water.

If I knew we’d be singing ‘one Nigel Pearson’ and getting a flash of those trainers, I’d be the first one in the stadium on Saturday.

And I’m being genuine.

I could be wrong but I never had you down as a huge Pearson fan. Were you but my memory let me down, or did something change?

Since Palace I also want him out for the same reasons. I didn't give a flying one about how high or low we'd land this season as long as we're not relegated. I saw it more like a season where we evolve from lump it Vardy to actually play football. A bit like a "friendly" season. In Germany we used the friendlies for that what they are, friendlies. Experiment stuff, see what happens and eventually fix or correct it so you can be ready when it counts.

But whatever he wanted to do will be impossible to achieve with these players. There is just too much resistance and too much pressure for results. However he really didn't help himself by persisting with Morgan (for whatever reason) and freezing Silva even when we were in a dire shortage of midfielders, as well as underestimating the importance of communication and showing enough pashun.

We  need long term sustainability. That means a long term project that sees success at the mid to long term.

I'm not Puel in or Puel out, but it can't be right to swap managers everytime the players want to or we have a few rough performances and results.

I'd understand if this squad were in their prime, but this lot are not.

Whoever the manager is, i expect next season to be a difficult season while we go through this transition period.  I'm of a mind to just stick with Puel and give him a chance at implementing hus vision.  The alternative is that we have to wait for someone else to implement their vision.  At least Puel has a six month head start on everyone else.

this is the thing for me. No guarantee that the next manager gets it right as well. Even if it's Benitez as well. What if the players don't take kindly to him?

Why not give Puel more of a chance to get through this rough patch and get his own players in?
