What’s the latest on Puel? Any idea who we’d get as a replacement ?

I want him gone before Saturday... I can't sit thru more impotent football

There have been talks this week so I assume that's what all the helicopter activity has been. Been hearing he needs a strong end to the season to keep his job.

No chance of that. Can see three spankings in a row.

If that's true I hope we're spending this time to line up a good replacement and not doing what we've done in the past which is sack someone and then say 'We're beginning the recruitment process now'.

What's that mean? A draw at home to 15th place West Ham?

Three people will know what is definitely going on. Rudkin, Vichai and Top.

There is a swell of rumours it'll happen, I still think this is the case however I think it will be during the summer. If they do it now they'll get slagged off again and theyre very sensitive. My view is they've got nothing to lose giving him the last few games and he will go after then probably. There are also replacements being sounded out.

One thing you know with our owners is that it won't be when you expect it though.....Ranieri, Pearson.....

If i was vichai i wouldnt say that a strong end will keep him in his job.  It could be we have a strong end but vichai still wants a change.... especially if he has the right guy lined up.  So i think this is speculation.  If course piel would like to thikg a strong end will save his job...  but he is not the leader we need to control the players and with the self confidence to be open with the fans so that he engenders support

Potentially season ticket sales and/or ticket sales.

Depending on when they announce them, when the renewal deadline is and when/if they announce his sacking.

The new man is probably in a job at another club that's my thinking, we are going to have to ride it out unfortunately.

But everybody knows Wenger is leaving?

Cannot see any change till end of season 10th at worst and there will be financial implications if we go for a man under contract elsewhere.

But the change will happen no doubt.

If true, then I hope we can make a very quick appointment. This summer is so important for us as we have a number of players to move on and to recruit. Biggest rebuild job we've needed for a number of seasons I would have thought.

If we lose at West Ham, then I'd sack then and get a jump on anyone else changing their manager this summer eg. West Ham and Everton.

West Ham (h) - with a threadbare squad

followed by

Arsenal (h)

Tottenham (a)

Good luck with that.

Really dont understand the logic (if true) that he needs to have a strong finish to keep his job.

They either believe in him and his philosophy or they don't.

This just puts the power in the players hands. The players puel may be considering getting rid of can just put in a shit performance and not give a shit and the manager loses his job.

What difference is a few games going to make now?

Even West Ham should be up for it, need another 3 points to be safe.

This exactly. He either stays, or let him go now.

He ought to stay, there's just too much bullshit around the club right now to lay it all at his feet and light the pyre.

Fella I work with supports West Ham. Now we work on different sites we meet once a week to review progress. I promised not to talk about football when we met on Wednesday. A promise not kept. James says most West Ham fans are just as pi55ed off with Moyes as we are with Puel and their players seem just as confused and demotivated as ours. I foresee a pretty desperate game of football with only Vardy and Maguire really being up for it.

I can't see how Puel can stay after last Saturday and the end of this season gives me bad memories about Tinker Taylor's first season. Just hope I am wrong!!!

I find West Ham fans odd that they are pissed off with Moyes when he overtook an unfit squad and their owners are absolutely toilet

I would imagine fans outside of ours think the same thing about us slagging off Puel. We were in deep trouble when he took over and quickly took us into a comfortable position. I couldn't believe Southampton sacked him last year after they finished 8th... I totally get it now lol
