I'm acting all casual like I don't care because I've accepted Riyad is going and I'm all mature and over it.

It's absolute bollocks, I'm gonna have a right little sob when these two are split up. Somehow, seeing Iheanacho grow in to his number ten spot as the third musketeer over the last few games actually makes it worse.

What could be if the three of them stay. Oh man.

will be comfortably the worst day in the history of the club when riyad leaves and this is all just a distant memory. i’m finding someone else to support after that until we go back to being proper shit. f uck spending the next 10 years listening to nonces on here claim diabate is better than mahrez or whoever we sign to play in centre mid is the new kante. the club’s dead.

It's 16% and that's not what I was talking about.

But go on... I'm intrigued by the idea of "100% of his goals and assists being better than 100% of most other wingers' in the league".

So what were you saying? Was it just a random fact then?

Vardy's stats this season are actually incredible, he's scored 20 goals but the lack of opportunity for him to score is so much worse than his rivals.

Just a few to show the comparison from https://www.premierleague.com/stats

Goals:

Salah: 32

Kane: 30

Aguero: 21
Vardy: 20

Sterling: 18

Lukaku: 16

Shots:

Kane: 184

Salah: 144

Aguero: 94

Sanchez: 88

Sterling: 87

Lukaku: 86

Rondon: 79

Vardy: 71

Big chances missed:

Salah: 23
Benteke: 20

Kane: 18

Morata: 17

Aguero: 13

Jesus: 13
Richarlison: 13

(22 players in between here)

Vardy: 6

So in summary, he scores more of his shots ratio wise than any other striker about and misses a big chance about once every six games, can you imagine how many he would score in a top team? If we were talking in boxing terms he's the best "pound for pound" striker in the PL.

I'm pretty sure he's actually got a better shots per goal ratio now than 15/16.

3.5 shots for a goal while Kane needs more than 6, Salah more than 4, Aguero about four and a half. Mad.

So you want to play a kid that's never made it into the senior team to start at CB next season alongside Ben Chilwell, with our current defensive record? lol

Moore is 21, Chilwell now needs to find consistently and a good Level.

Absolutely astonishing statistics. Will be a sad day when he either leaves the club or retires - epitomises our style and has done for 5 years now.

Should start at the World Cup for England. Don't think he will, mind.

Fail to see my smarmy ridicule pal, think you've imagined it. I was in fact stating the obvious: you want to play a youth team player with no experience of first team football let alone in the prem, in a back three alongside Chilwell after watching our defensive frailties the last two seasons and aiming for a top 6 finish? It's not rocket science mate, no 'expertise' required to determine that it's a shit idea.

This formation is so open to being exploited down the flanks. Chilwell as a centre-half?! Alongside Moore?! We'd get ruined.

Our Flank haven't been on Fire, and our defence has Always been Opened Up,Like the red sea Parting.

Chilwell wouldnt be playing Center half, but Like other 3 bline spreads, there is always a FB in Its midst.

Obvious IT depends If all those Players realise their Potential, and have consistent Form, again it

was Just using present Squad, with youth in mind. There actually isnt much Change, from what we

have Put Out in the Last months so  I am using ideas and Players, where  there has Been a melting-pot

Of suggestions, using this Front 6 together, from the beginning of the season through to the

New Addition of Diabete, and thought that Mahrez will Go.

The Grouping of Ndidi/Choudry with Either Silva or Iborra or both has been Put Forward on numerous

Occasions,by many Others,so I am Just using the Variations and actual selections, that have been

Put Forward. The Idea of  Vardy,Nacho,Gray,Diabete ,Ndidi was Not Originally  from me,itcame from

selection ideas, from within this forum, posted every Gameday thread, contra to the Chosen selections,

So this was an Idea on the obvious consequenses..

After 2nd thought,with a tweeking Here n there,why Not.!!

Lets See If the 2 Pumped Up,motivated Young players, Gray and Diabete 'can' Play together and Form

Variants of Triangle of attack, with Vardy / Nacho, with a midfielder Popping Up,or coming through.

Not sure Ive seen Vardy score many from any sort of distance - when he gets a chance its usually a proper in the clear chance and that's a compliment.

Pity Riyad doesn't play for England then we might see Vardy on the end of a few chances instead of the 20minutes without a touch scenario.

Like who? Maybe Chelsea but I doubt it. Besides, his best bet would be renegotiate his contract and stay, he'll be set for life.

I also think of Riyad goes, so might Vardy.

Maybe, but it's high risk for Vardy, think of the big club's and their strike forces, and does he fit, unless he wants to play second fiddle and sit on the bench.

Man City, can buy who they want, no way is Vardy at the top of their list.

Liverpool,  no chance

Man U, Jose only wants to play one man upfront who's a target man, so he'd be a bench warmer.

Tottenham, never play two up top, so unless they sell Kane, he'd be a bench  warmer.

Arsenal, spent 100 million on strikers last season, unlikely.

I could only see Chelsea or maybe Everton at a push, both more then likely changing managers, so depends on them getting someone in who is in interested in him.

I just can't see him wanting to sit on a bench after a late start to his career, as long as we pay him what he believes his worth can't see him leaving.

Vardy is a perfect Mourinho signing, so my only worry is him moving there.  Would he displace Lukaku as first choice? Probably not, but he would still play 20+ games for United due to rotation and some European football, which might be enough to turn Vardy's head now that other Leicester players are moving on.
