Wright is looking alright but needs more time in the u23s. Who's 7? He's had some flourishes. Knight looks good as ever. I think Pasc did a goal line clearance just a minute ago. Shade is looking great. Great work for our goal and is hard working elsewhere in the pitch. Very good goalkeeper. Knight and Pasc are solid in defence. Darnell and Ughelumba look good at full back although Darnell no longer looks close to the first team. Ughelumba looks closer tbh. DH and Sheif looks good in midfield. Wright looks good although young. Shade looks like he could end up very good. Muskwe was quiet but I think he's recently back from injury. Outside of those 3 if we’re being realistic, who else can break into the first team squad? Elder seems most likely, as we’ll need a Fuchs replacement. Our CB’s have Benkovic and Soyuncu to compete with. Eppiah seems to be always injured and we don’t know if Ndukwu will perform at the same level when he returns. Keep the faith, like most fans I would love to see more of our u23s progress but we also need to be realistic. TLDR: Realistic = Chilwell, Choudhury and Barnes in the first team and Elder as Fuchs replacement. Outside chance for the rest. Gerrem all out on loan!
