AdamDey99 Posted 2 June 2018 Posted 2 June 2018 What would everyone’s realistic 11 be for next season? We linked to pretty much every transfer speculation going. So I was wondering what everyone’s 11 would be, what the aim for the season should be. My 11 if transfers were to go through would be. Kasper Pereira Evans Maguire Chilwell Wilf Silva Diabate Maddison Grealish Vardy (c) COYB? 2

Dan Posted 2 June 2018 Posted 2 June 2018 I'm starting to think that @Ric Flair may have a point in that he'll want quite a narrow three behind a striker with the width mainly provided from the full backs. Maybe it possible we get both Grealish and Maddison as a result of this. 1
Popular Post Tuna Posted 2 June 2018 Popular Post Posted 2 June 2018 We'll need a better left back than Chilwell that's for sure. 7

foxes21 Posted 2 June 2018 Posted 2 June 2018 Schmeichel Pereira, Maguire, Evans, New LB Maddison, Ndidi, Grealish Roberts, Vardy, Gray
Strokes Posted 2 June 2018 Posted 2 June 2018 (edited) It gives maguire the freedom to roam forwards, the wingbacks less defensive responsibility and Gray/Diabate/Maddison the freedom to invent behind vards. Edited 2 June 2018 by Strokes 2

I suppose if we can get a couple in who can play anywhere across the 3 ACM positions then it could work. Pereira will be a beast anyway up the right.
kingfox Posted 2 June 2018 Posted 2 June 2018 (edited) Loving the display pic @AdamDey99 I'd love to see us with this by the start of the season... Schmeichel Pereira - Dragovic/Mawson - Maguire - Chilwell Ndidi - Silva Albrighton - Iheanacho/Maddison - Elyounoussi Vardy As for aims I honestly think we could be in for a tough season, I'd take top ten but the way we played under Puel last season I don't have much confidence, a relegation battle wouldn't surprise me. The Premier League from 7th to 20th next season could literally be anything, so many evenly matched mid table teams. Edited 2 June 2018 by kingfox

Osavo Posted 2 June 2018 Posted 2 June 2018 Think we need to be realistic with the number of signings we can bed in in one go. Obviously it would be nice to sign 5 or 6 new players, including a new goalkeeper or left-back, but I think we should focus first on priority areas (CB, AMC, Mahrez replacement). I'd like to see something along the lines of: Schmeichel Pereira Dragovic Maguire Chilwell Ndidi Silva Maddison Iheanacho Grealish Vardy A narrow 3 behind the strikers with freedom to swap positions, with Pereira and Chilwell providing threat from the flanks - think Chilwell deserves a shot to prove he can be first choice, he's still young although I do take the point that his defensive instinct is slightly under par. 2

Anyway, i would hope Diabate would be a impact/sub player anyway.
