I was thinking this earlier, he can't enjoy himself in this kind of system where they don't put much pressure on the ball and just knock it around when they do have it.

 

Compare that to the way he played for us in 2016 when he was running his heart out, intercepting, playing the ball to start the counter attack and then fly down the other end of the pitch at 100mph. He did it like ten times a game.

I know football needed to clean up the game tackling wise but it's like watching junior school stuff the way the players overreact at the slightest body contact.

France - again - look like an assembly of individuals rather than a team, an issue that's been plaguing them for years now.

Decent if you're rooting for Oz. I think Giroud will come on second half, still expect France will win comfortably but hoping that they wont.
