If you can't beat these 6-0, then I'll be highly disappointed in England.

The divide between these two sides is just too big.

A win and you're through to the next round, so C'MON ENGLAND!

Oh, and Gareth: There's a player in your squad named Jamie Vardy. Would be nice if you could let him play for at least 30 minutes, you know. He's supposed to be rather good in front of goal.

We drew with Scotland not so long ago lol.

Other countries supporters confidence in England never ceases to amaze me. Will you seriously be disappointed in England if it's 5-0?

I'd take a 1-0 now.

Most of the Panama players are active in some dodgy or exotic league in South, Middle or North America. :D

They were pumped for their first ever World Cup game against Belgium, but that desire and pride will have faded by now, there's nothing to play for anymore. They know they're headed for the exit.

6-0 is realistic, if Vardy is given a chance to perform a hattrick.

Personally, I think 1-0 or 1-1 is just as realistic (probably more realistic) than 6-0.

Maybe I'm just jaded by previous tournaments but a 92nd minute winner against a very poor Tunisia does not a juggernaut make imo.

I'll be incredibly pleased if you are able to say 'I told you so' to me at 3pm today.

Hmmmm!

No. of matches so far: 29.

No. of teams winning by six: 0

No. of teams winning by three: 4

Panama will be more defensive than Tunisia, sitting back in the knowledge that a jammy 1-0 win against us and a win against Tunisia could be enough for Panama to make the last 16.

Only way I can see us winning by several goals is if we score early and Panama have to play a more open game at some point.

Totally agree. Don't really seeing it opening up much even if England did score early. Predictions of 5 or 6 are completely out of kilter with what's happened at the tournament so far as you have pointed out.

We don't beat teams like Malta 6-0 so why people think we'll do it to a team who have earned the right to play in a World Cup over the USA is strange.

I was going to add: "Hope I'm wrong", but I probably don't hope that.

Imagine the hype if England play brilliantly and beat Panama 6-0....everyone will suddenly be expecting us to win the World Cup again.

Better to keep a low profile with a 2-0.

The inevitable crash of a 6-0 win followed by a sobering defeat by Belgium would be tough lol I'm with you, 3 points quietly gained please.

Loftus Cheek in for Dele, otherwise unchanged.

Hope Vards gets a run out today.

I like Loftus-Cheek. Good solid midfielder. Defends and attacks well and is a big presence there. Good choice to replace Alli with him.

Hope to see Vardy make an appearance.

Well we need goals... so it’s either persist with Sterling or go with 7 goal Rashford!

Obviously!

Sterling and Lingard picked again!?!? That means we're gonna need about 40 chances before we actually get one on target. In my view you can play one of them but not both

England will get about 80 chances, so there's hope either Sterling or Lingard will score today.

I told you to keep the faith when Serbia were leading 1-0 the other night so I suppose I should follow my own advice. Sterling to break Just Fontaine's record in this single match and be presented with the golden boot at full time.

Gwon Maguire.  It's funny, in the second half of the first game he was one of our biggest attacking threats.  He looked like a left winger at times.  Not sure if that is good because I like to see him bomb forwards or depressed at what it says about our creativity in the middle.  Let's do this sh1t.  X
