It's not the same. The stripes are different for starters. The neck and shoulders look marginally different and the shirt material is different.

 

Obviously it's similar but how can Adidas justify creating a unique kit for Leicester city. I think this kit is a better execution than the other kits using this template (Lyon, Birmingham etc)

What?! We're Leicester City. Manufacturers should be making unique kits for us out of respect. Think of how we could reduce their profit margins for negligible gains. Madness they wouldn't do that.

They're both Adidas football shirts, come in the same sizes, and  same template.

 

Different grade polyesters maybe? But I doubt it. It's not as if the replicas are made of silk!

I'm more annoyed that we've left our deal with Puma, everyone got excited when we knew it'd be Adidas, and then we get this sh*te and Puma have released some great looking shirts this year. Burnley's new away kit looks a beauty

Puma may also pull the same trick of a 3rd shirt being something you could buy off-the-shelf without the logos/sponsor for a lot cheaper...

 

This is Cambridge United's new 3rd shirt...

 

And if you took away the logo and sponsor, you could spend a lot less...

 

Joking aside, I'm not sure I've seen too many football shirts with so few design elements: who knows if that may have been one of the templates Puma were suggesting for us!

it is baffling people think this would change going from a manufacturer that does kits for vast amount of clubs to going to another manufacturer which also does kits for a vast amount of clubs. Only way we'd get less templatey kits is with a company like umbro which doesn't make kits on the same level.

Umbria also use templates so I don't know where people get this myth about them doing bespoke kits from

I'm not saying they don't, but it feels more unique because you havent got the kit of about 10 different teams as opposed to like 1 or 2

Template or not these are a lot nicer than our 3rd kit and the effort Adidas have put into it.

For what it's worth I really like our away kit, wasn't keen on it at first, but it's grown on me massively.

Our home shirt is smart, nothing to write home about but it's nice.

This 3rd kit though is awful. It just looks sh*te. Proper Sunday league type shirt.
