oxford blue Posted 26 October 2018 Posted 26 October 2018 ...or Tranmere v Oxford City. City play in National League South and reached 2nd round last year, defeating Colchester away before losing in injury time to Notts County. Very unlucky to have been drawn away to league sides consecutively in main competition.
spacemunky Posted 10 November 2018 Posted 10 November 2018 Wasn't expecting much from Notts at Barnsley and I got just that.
Tuna Posted 10 November 2018 Posted 10 November 2018 Good day for non league (I hate that term) sides in the cup: Aldershot, Billericay, Ebbsfleet, Hartlepool, & Halifax earning replays. Maidstone beating Macclesfield, Oxford City surprisingly drawing at Tranmere. Result of the day has to be Stockport, who are now semi professional, beating Yeovil 3-1 at Huish Park.
SAFC1 Posted 12 November 2018 Posted 12 November 2018 Walsall away... We go there in the league 7 days before the cup tie!
ScouseFox Posted 12 November 2018 Posted 12 November 2018 what a fu cking game that was hahaha. genuinely in bits that someone got booked for timewasting in the 65th minute, then when they were 1-0 up and had a free kick in the corner in the 89th minute they sent 10 men forward and got done on the counter. then conceded again after that and lost. unbelievable.

Amazing really, can't even really blame it on the level they play most Sunday league teams now if you are 1-0 up with a min of normal time to go you keep plenty of men back and hold the ball in the corner.
Wymsey Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Quite a few replays are on tonight. Oxford City v Tranmere Rovers is on BT Sport.
StanSP Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Matt Smith (presenter on BT Sport) at the Oxford City game just said 'it's quite cold here tonight but the 3G pitch should hold up well tonight'. Does he not realise 3G is all-weather, so least of all a bit of cold weather won't harm it at all

StanSP Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Just now, Carl the Llama said: Maybe he does realise and that's why he thinks it will hold up well? it'll hold up well regardless though . it could probably go below freezing. Just thought it was a pointless remark
SAFC1 Posted 21 November 2018 Posted 21 November 2018 Salford City at home to Shrewsbury on BT Sport 1 in a 1st round replay. Fancying a ’shock’ here.
SAFC1 Posted 21 November 2018 Posted 21 November 2018 Hartlepool has lead 2-0 at home to Gillingham who’ve just made it 2-2 after a 95th minute penalty. Can only see one winner from that one now....

Tuna Posted 21 November 2018 Posted 21 November 2018 Pleased Chesterfield got past Billericay, that football club has had enough humiliation in the least 2 years.

Wymsey Posted 30 November 2018 Posted 30 November 2018 Pretty even in the game nvolving Solihull Moors v Blackpool at the moment.
davieG Posted 1 December 2018 Author Posted 1 December 2018 Are all the televised games on BT Sport? Are the FA that desperate? And they wonder why it's popularity is falling.
