While the final itself holds a payday of £3.6million, that amount would be nearly doubled with the money accrued throughout the other rounds. It is a tidy incentive for some of the Premier League's lower-ranked teams to go all the way in the country's senior cup competition. The competition is quickly heading towards the first round proper, where Football League clubs enter the fray, after the second qualifying round draw was made on Monday. Prize money has been doubled for the 2018/19 season, in a move which will benefit every team competing in the competition at every level. Even the teams which bowed out of the competition at the first two qualifying stages received cash bonuses. When the Premier League clubs enter the competition in the third round proper, a prize of £135,000 is on offer. It is then increased at every round until the final, where there is even added money for the losers of the semi-final.

boots60 Posted 10 September 2018 Posted 10 September 2018 Anstey Nomads & Coalville flying the flag for Leicestershire.
spacemunky Posted 10 September 2018 Posted 10 September 2018 Hitchin v Didcot looks like a tasty fixture.
Tuna Posted 10 September 2018 Posted 10 September 2018 Shite draw for Grantham away at St Ives or Saffron Walden (the draw in this thread Is wrong - Saffron Walden and St Ives replay, Grantham already through). Farsley Celtic V Southport and South Shields V Stockport look like great ties.
420Hashish Posted 10 September 2018 Posted 10 September 2018 Never heard of a single one of these teams, or barely.

Devonfox1884 Posted 10 September 2018 Posted 10 September 2018 Living near Torquay and therefore having mates that support them, I don’t know whether to find their demise hilarious or heartbreaking. From the league 2 playoff final to conference south and playing Lymington in 4 years... Their defeat at home to Chippenham at the weekend was literally the lowest point in their history.
Tuna Posted 22 September 2018 Posted 22 September 2018 Boston United 0-2 Peterborough Sports Woking 0-4 Tooting & Mitcham Couple of surprise results in the FA Cup today.
isaidno Posted 24 September 2018 Posted 24 September 2018 Coalville to play St Neots town if they beat Buxton in the replay.

filbertway Posted 8 October 2018 Posted 8 October 2018 Well, we have St Neots at our place tomorrow. 1-0 up at half time and looking comfortable. Our center back was sent off after a few minutes of the second half but we managed to take a 2-0 lead. They started to bombard the box and snuck a goal late on. Then with the last kick (the ball hit a players face) of the game they managed to equalise. Fancy us to finish the job at home as long as we play to our potential. If we win tomorrow, an away tie at Alfreton awaits, currently mid table in the national league north. Not an easy tie at all, but we'd fancy ourselves to give them a game if we get through.
Gary Eatfood Posted 9 October 2018 Posted 9 October 2018 Just about to head to Owen St. C'mon the Ravens! Glory awaits you.
CosbehFox Posted 9 October 2018 Posted 9 October 2018 Coalville’s bottle just went in the last twenty. 3-1 up and now into extra time at 3-3
filbertway Posted 9 October 2018 Posted 9 October 2018 Same as Saturday. Massive shame. St Neots last 3 FA cup games they've come back from 3 0, 2 0 and 3 1. Its their year to have a run.
Tuna Posted 20 October 2018 Posted 20 October 2018 Met Police and Haringey Borough through to FA Cup first round. Not many Step 3 or lower through.
