Can someone ITK let us know the real reason why he's still playing? He's absolutely finished at this level but they won't drop him. It just isn't right, we can all see it...

He is a legend but he needs to sail into the sunset as just that. Please stop Wes, it's horrible to see.

I want someone to tell me he's orchestrated the last 3 manager changes. That will all make sense to me then.

You could say the same about Maguire today who has been dreadful as has Ricardo there is a collective  blame in this match oh and lets not leave out the midfield who have been invisible.

It is not all down to Morgan

Valid, but consistently over the past year his being in the team has cost us.

Wes Morgan has probably been our best  defender today.

Sick of people putting the blame of our defensive frailties solely on him.

Maguire and Ricardo have been ****ing hopeless.

I'm wondering if Evans has a little knock and we are managing it at the moment. Otherwise, I have no idea!

lets be fair though, Maguire has been even worse than Morgan today!

However, we need to have an eye on the season as a whole, and Morgan should not be starting ahead of Evans if he is fit.

yes Evans has looked rusty, but he is still the better defender and we need him forging a partnership with Maguire now.

if Morgan is picked again next week, then I will be dumbfounded!

Threads like this fvck me off.

Maguire has been awful here but , yet again, Morgan's name gets brought up

Ok, let's haul Maguire off and get Evans or Soyuncu on at half time.

...No? Ok Puel, no changes. Rock on. Whoop whoop!

The defence is shocking, it has been shocking for a while now, it seems he's doing little to change anything.

Evans and soyuncu are both injured when signed here. They need match fitness, while at the same time morgan plays decent.

Soyuncu currently close to match fit, but start him in away matches is too risky for his confidence.

The best will be start him in cup games, or home match vs non big club.

Evans unfortunately didn't have international match to build fitness so he's likely 4th choice after Morgan unless he start to play few matches regularly with u23s

It's shit watching Wes' rapid decline but if you were being ruthless you'd say the red card provides Puel with a great opportunity to bring in someone else while phasing him out a bit.
