Whilst I agree that we need to settle on a back four and whomever that is need a little time I cannot help but this we are creating issues that may not be there?  In terms of actual goals conceded we are 9th in the league.  In terms of likely goal scoring chances faced (expected goals against) we are 5th which means we have actually conceded more goals than our general play merits.  Not saying we are perfect but we aint as bad as some claim.  X

Posters go OTT with their analysing.. Trying to prove they have found Eutopia

and source of the problems....Then go on blame campaigns.

Me!!  I just enjoy watching...let the dilemmas sort themselves out, because we ,this forum are underrating our backfour!!!

Mistakes will happen...but does Ndidi cover the defence ,like Kante did but it's irrelevant we play with another set up!!

Is Morgan more or less exposed...irrelevant it's another team!!! But many insist on comparing...but our record for an Above

Mid-table side is not rubbish or incredibly poor, because we don't score many, but after 7,we are 7th.

Better record than 13 other defence/attack....

It amazes me that some actually expect  we should be better...then gripe..

You are wrong in that most people when the term ‘bringing youth through’ mean interms of OUR youth players. Again you are arguing for the sake of it I think as I don’t believe you are stupid.

Where did I say I disagreed with signing young players?

I happen to believe it’s the way to go; Maddison looks a great signing, but I do not believe that this manager is getting the best out of this squad or will ever do so.

For Chilwell to be our best defender this season, says it all. He is not very good, and it just emphasises what a mess Puel is making of things at the back. We are shocking in that area and for you to quote stats in another post to argue that things are ok is frankly ridiculous.

I'm not sure of your basis for this decision but you are wrong. Chilwell is a very good modern day left back and we are very lucky to have a player of that caliber.

Do you think he's performed badly, or is your point that he's not "that calibre"?

Noticed this while on the FPL Scout page.  Not bad for saying we have the worst defence in the history of the game.  X

If it can stay like that all season we'll do very well indeed!

On the flipside, it shows we have made a fair few costly mistakes so far with the goals we've conceded; hopefully we can iron them out.

@Beechey I think you're wasting your time.

Make like Dionne Warwick and walk on by.

That was my decision .   Sometimes you just have to recognize that it's not worth the effort.

To be fair, since the Bournemouth shambles, we've conceded one goal in three games.

There's been an improvement. Granted the opposition hasn't been great in attack.

Tomorrow we will be up against pace and mobility. So this will be a barometer of how much better the defense is.

    Dan Evans Maguire

Ricky                  Chilly

        Ndidi Mendy

           Madders

        Nacho  Vards

Probably the best defensive setup despite Ricky's defensive fragility on the right.
