Easy to resolve, anybody wanting to bid on these ensure that with any successful bids that all monies raised will be  going to the Foundation set up in Vichai's memory.

I can see some money grabbers doing this but it did enter my head to do the same.

 

I went with my son so we have 2 lots. One lot is a treasured possession, especially the stunning program, and the other I thought of ebaying and whatever I got for them I would donate to one of Vichai's charities, probably the children's hospital.

 

Do others think that this would be acceptable?

 

One of the sellers has been getting hate mail which I could do without.

The club could easily fix this by selling them for £2 with all proceeds going to the Vichai foundation.

A few reports floating about of people returning to their seats after half time to find their bags had gone - in very poor taste if they’ve been taken.

If people want to sell, and people want to buy then there's not much you can do to stop that. Personally I wouldn't part with mine. My son and I got one bag each and he gifted his to his Grandma on the way home. I said "that's really nice of you mate". His response "that's alright Dad, it was yours that I gave her"

Just on a different tack i was supposed to buy 3 programmes for mates who normally come to games and was surprised there were 

none on sale does anyone know if they are going to be up for sale by club? if not they will be buying on ebay. i take it Burnley fans were

getting them free as well there were Burnley fans coming out with piles of them.

This is the most unsurprising post of the thread. I sound like an old man cynic but this was my first thought when the souvenirs were announced; that people would go scooping up as many as possible. You just can't trust people, unfortunately.

I was at the ground during the game yesterday paying my respects.(was also there last weekend) If anyone has a gift pack for sale i would be happy to buy one off you preferably with proceeds going to the foundation. Saw my first game at filbert street in 1966 im a genuine fan not trying to make a fast buck

I think it's a good idea selling the stuff, IF you donate it to the Vichai foundation.

My lads bag got stolen from some scumbag who sat behind us just as the full time whistle blew, by the time he noticed something brushed his back they were down the bottom of the stand so we couldn't catch them but one of them has a season ticket so if you are reading this and sat in seats 213/214 row JJ, block J2 in the east stand, 4 of us will be waiting for you at the next home match so would probably suggest you don't attend or if you do bring the bag and all of its contents back with an apology and I'll say no more.

email also sent to club to make them aware but doubt they could do anything for something like this but leaves a really bitter taste in the circumstances.

You sure that wasn't the area that usually has away fans but with them not selling full allocation had been made into an extended home section?

Burnley didn’t have the whole of the away end yesterday, probably 1000-1500, the rest of the ‘away’ section was given to home fans, hence the even bigger sea of white
