The whole our recruitment has been outstanding since he arrived no wonder other clubs are looking at him.

It has?

is this the man that brought us ndidi, silva, nacho - no idea but if so il help him pack his bags

Ndidi, Iborra, Ward, Silva, Maddison, Ricardo, Evans, Benkovic, Soyuncu, Iheanacho, Maguire, Jakupovic, Diabate, Dragovic.

More good buys than duds in there. Bold are the ones I consider successes or likely to be successes. Italics are the ones that either played a bit-part role (Iborra, albeit he did it well last season), or possibly being a success, but not had enough time (Soyuncu). The only real 'failures' so far are Iheanacho (22 so still young, but it's not looking optimistic), Silva, Diabate and Jakupovic.

Not sure why Ndidi is in that list of yours. At £15m he was a great buy, and he more or less single handedly kept us up in 2017 and would probably cost an arm and a leg now. Bargain.

Agreed including Ndidi completely undermined his point.

Whilst you could argue that he isn't currently at his best this season it would take a special kind of idiot to try and argue that he hasn't been a good signing

Mate, Ndidi is one of our best players.

For all the effort and bluster he can't pass a ball straight 5 yards.

Dragovic and Benkovic shouldn't be in there, Benkovic could still be a flop and Dragovic only played briefly because the manager didn't want him.

Anyone really see the sense in this. Surely these people talk. So what's the point bringing in a player the manager doesn't want to play. It's not just us loads of clubs seem to do it.

You would not buy a machine for a business that could not do the job you wanted it to do.

Wasn’t Shakespeare the manager when we signed Dragovic?

Or machines with parts missing that you cannot start?

Give you that but did shakey play him anyway.

You’re right, he didn’t. Iirc Morgan and Maguire played in central defence.

You would think so but it spoke volumes when he was dropped despite us having a solid and settled back 4 which hardly conceded. Guess who makes that judgement call.. the manager.

I think it's unlikely about Benkovic. He's bossed Europa League games against teams like Leipzig, so we know of his quality. The only major doubt is his injury record.

Yes let's just keep a loan player that played up. Good move.

Hardly conceded other than 8 in three games before he was dropped out.

Wes picked the Team so hardly surprising and guess what Shaky is history.

5 of which came in 1 game against Man City who were champions that year and by all accounts excellent.

Who didn't get pounded by Man City that season?

With an option to buy which at the time looked a likely deal if we wanted it, instead of looking to rejuvenate our defence with a younger centre back we dropped him at the first sight of Morgan back from injury.

You're possibly correct but I need to see him in the Prem for us before I cast my judgement on whether he will be a success.

He was dropped for his bad attitude around the training ground.

Drag had a bad attitude? In what way?

Started over him looking for a house. He was searching miles away when told he needed to be looking closer that's when it started.
