SemperEadem Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Arsenal fan that now makes out he is Leicester.
Matt Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Dunno... Don’t know what he’s said today but based on past comments his opinion seems to sway more extremely than votes and people’s opinions on here do.
Lesterlad Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 He waffles bollocks on the radio every week. He is clueless. I would rather have Puel as a pundit then him
jonny_wright Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 He gave Choudhury the man of the match for his first half performance ??♂️

Can we not just slate every pundit who has an opinion? To me he actually cares about Leicester and he was bang on about the fact that we started with 3 defensive midfielders was the reason we lost today.
Quorndon_Fox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Choudhary was our best player AGAIN today, what’s the point trying to be made?
Bezzanator89 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Actually really rate Matt Piper as a commentator/pundit on the radio station. He says how it is with no sugar-coating applied. Such things as observing that we had three, THREE central defensive midfielders as a contributing reason to why we cannot break teams like Cardiff/Southampton down, was spot on. Not sure what the OP was trying to achieve here but Piper has to be better than the dullard we had before him.
dayday Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 He actually speaks a lot of sense, said the starting team was all wrong, which is plain to see accept the manager cannot see this.
Sir Shep Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Ok, so as it’s top secret as to what he said can anyone at least bullet point something or shall I just assume it wasn’t anything relevant at all and someone was fishing for rep points.
joachim1965 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 He was also very critical of Claud Puels comment that breaking into the top six is impossible. Said he lacked ambition if he feels that.
joachim1965 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Also said that when we don't play with pace and intensity that the football is very boring.

But we didn't play 3 CDMs vs Cardiff, and everyone whinged about it. 1 minute ago, joachim1965 said: He was also very critical of Claud Puels comment that breaking into the top six is impossible. Said he lacked ambition if he feels that. Then the actual issue is he lacks realism. We will not crack top six without an infinite amount of oil money (Man City) or some freak luck generating a genuinely world class player from the academy (Spurs). Even then, they just expanded the top 4 to a top six.

It may be impossible to break into the top six, but the point he made was that the players, fans or even the owners don't want to hear the manager make comments like that. Realistic or not it's not what's needed from the man charged with team motivation.

Fans won't, but our fans are idiots with massive delusions of grandeur from one incredible season and aren't worth listening to.

I do hear what you are saying and if we had not won the league everyone would be delighted to be where we are now, but you are missing the point, as a manager and motivator he should not be saying to the media that once we hit seventh that's as good as it gets, which is effectively what he has said.

Theres a difference between what he says to the press and what he'll say to the players. The players will know the target this season is 7th.
