Legends has it that Pearson sacked himself, and then reinstated himself......

I think you’ve got that the wrong way round ...

Anyone else notice a pattern here? The more I read about this the more I'm convinced that Big Nige played a blinder back then.

I can imagine Leicester's boardroom a few weeks after:

Vichai: Well, things have started to pick up. Well done Top, you were right to reinstate him.

Top: Hold the phone, I thought you reinstated him?

Vichai: What?! He told me you did?

Top: Eh? He told me you reinstated him Dad?

Vichai: I did nothing of the sort. Susan did you reinstate him?

Susan: Nige told me Rudders had reinstated him?

Rudders: What? Nige told me Susan had told him that Top had reinstated him?

Vichai: Cheeky ****

The Monks sacked him, Pearson re-instated himself but was later sacked anyway and is now a Belgian Monk? Come again?

You missed the bit where The Monks were implicated in a furore over sexism/feminism on Top of the Pops:

What is the point of this topic? And does it matter, Pearson's gone and that's it. Get over it and move on!!

Trying to work out whether Top had ever sacked a manager, calm down.

"Greatest", he we go again using a very much over-used word. Good manager and very successful in Championship & League 1 but never won the greatest prize of all, the EPL title.

Same here. I thought he was sacked by Top then Vichai being the wise old owl he was, thought it was too hasty so reinstated him?

Does it really matter?

Well if Top has a track record of sacking then yes it may.

If it doesn't matter why are you taking an interest?

Please don't derail.

For someone that had no interest .....
