Jimothy Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Chaos! Vettel spins and the rejoins and nearly takes out Stroll, causing Stroll to spin and he nearly takes out someone else!
Jimothy Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Vettel is a liability. Literally a car crash waiting to happen.
Legend_in_blue Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Ferrari International Aid doing their upmost to get behind Leclerc.

st albans fox Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Bottas really isn’t good enough ........but he is a no 2 driver .......... but then again, so is leclerc !!

Yeah, and that's pretty shit isn't it. Fair enough, let him off pushing Hamilton off track when he wasn't a car length ahead of him if they didn't want to punish a Ferrari driver at Monza, but then ignoring him cutting a chicane and numerous double movements under breaking too, is pushing it.
Asha Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH CHARLES LECLERC COME ON SON!!! 💪💪💪
isaidno Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Vettel now has 9 points on his racing licence. One more major mistake and he gets a one race ban.

You'd have thought a black and white flag for squeezing him off track, and then later on cutting the chicane and moving under braking would have been enough to get some sort of penalty???? I presume its not the same at T1 like it is at T2 where you outbrake yourself you have to follow that line around the outside? Drivers (such as Hamilton later on) should have just tried to make the corner anyway and cut the chicane since it loses you less time
Brainy Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 In a race where stewards were handing out penalties left right and centre Although they were deserved. Wouldnt be surprised to see Vettel call it a day at the end of the season

Collymore Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 How Leclerc didn't get penalised for getting an advantage out of his mistake is beyond me.
Legend_in_blue Posted 8 September 2019 Posted 8 September 2019 Watching the highlights back, Vettel knew exactly where Stroll was before he rejoined the track. He looks left, sees him coming and still drives into him. He's totally lost the plot.

Brainy Posted 9 September 2019 Posted 9 September 2019 Don't think this is the first time this season i've said fantastic column from Jolyon Palmer https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/49629863
The Bear Posted 10 September 2019 Posted 10 September 2019 Agreed. He's a much better pundit that driver, sadly for him.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Have driving standards in F1 ever been lower? Can barely go 5 laps without a safety car.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Nice to Seb back on top, such ashame Ferrari pissed away the season before getting their shit together, it's at least more funnier when they bottle it
Brainy Posted 23 September 2019 Posted 23 September 2019 There's definitely some blind appreciation for Mercedes' strategy department from the media, they do some very weird and incorrect things a lot of the time. And telling Bottas to not go quick as to not undercut Hamilton? I know its unlikely Bottas will win but have Mercedes already called off the title fight? Ferrari too, did the same at Belgium, only finished 4th(?) in the end because he had no pace all weekend. I don't buy this whole "call him in early to block Hamilton's charge on Leclerc later on" And Alfa Romeo...... must be an Italian thing that they just seem to forget their 2nd driver (Raikkonen last few years at Ferrari). Swear early on he was 8th behind Norris, leaving your driver our at Singapore can sometimes work when there is someone else being a roadblock but in the end he was the roadblock. Not the first time this season thats happened

Not the first time this season thats happened I think Merc get better rub of the green from the media because A)They're so dominant B)Ferrari's strategy, since they became the proper number 2 team again has been god awful in comparison. It's a strange year for Merc, while they have dominated for so long, this is probably the first year of their dominance where everything is nicely wrapped up this early on and they don't have anything to worry about.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 28 September 2019 Posted 28 September 2019 McLaren to return to Merc for 2021, how McLaren would it be that Renault absolutely smash the 'new era' in 2021
