somebum Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 Surely Archer must even cringe reading some of the stuff written about him on the BBC. Completely OTT
StanSP Posted 20 August 2019 Author Posted 20 August 2019 Anyone seen the Kent and Middlesex scores this week?! Middlessx were all out for only 75 in their 1st innings against Sussex. Ollie Robinson got 8 wickets in 11 overs! Kent in their 2nd innings bettered that by going all out for only 40 runs!! Not one player got in to double figures. Sam Cook got 7 wickets in 9 overs.
UniFox21 Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 Youd think he'd be a potential doubt if anything like the Smith hit.
Brainy Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 Get Vince back. His 30's would be pretty handy at the top of the order nowadays

Ollie Robinson had it on a piece of string all match and ended up with match figures of 14-135. He has really improved since Jason Gillespie took over at Sussex. When Broad and Anderson retire he's well worth a look for England (he's only 25).
Voll Blau Posted 21 August 2019 Posted 21 August 2019 England's schedule confirmed for next summer. Will definitely try to get to a day of the Windies Test at Birmingham. Guest MattP Posted 21 August 2019 Posted 21 August 2019 Are we just bringing Australia over every summer now?

brockmyster Posted 21 August 2019 Posted 21 August 2019 3 hours ago, MattP said: Are we just bringing Australia over every summer now? Not that I approve of it but it does make sense why they've been here the last 3 summers in a row, the World Cup & Ashes had to take focus this year hence why they've just moved the T20s to next year and the ODI series was last year, realistically it doesnt really matter if they come over and play all formats in one year or spread across 3 summers, either way its the same amount of games
Voll Blau Posted 21 August 2019 Posted 21 August 2019 How much do Gloucestershire love a chase against the clock? Derbyshire must be sick after losing that. Anyone else see that Foakes catch today too? That poor bloke is going to end up with only about one tenth of the England caps he should have come the end of his career.

Looking forward to the cricket today, what a chance with no Steve Smith. Telling that they've farmed out three of those games to Southampton, Bristol and Durham. Might as well let Grace Road have one. Anyway, here's that Foakes grab if anyone hasn't seen it yet. Gerrimin!
ScouseFox Posted 22 August 2019 Posted 22 August 2019 seen jofra taking the piss out of smith’s leaves in the nets. really really really just want to be mates with him.
Guest MattP Posted 22 August 2019 Posted 22 August 2019 Good toss to win this, perfect bowling conditions today and will be great for batting tomorrow and Saturday.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 22 August 2019 Posted 22 August 2019 Hopefully we get on in these conditions, could be a stinker of a decision if it clears up.
ScouseFox Posted 22 August 2019 Posted 22 August 2019 yeah don’t worry bro, as someone who can see headingley from their balcony, we’re about 100/1 to see any sunshine today. it’s miserable as fu ck.
walkerleeds Posted 22 August 2019 Posted 22 August 2019 It's stopped raining now, was only drizzling anyway. No sign of sun wherever you look.
StanSP Posted 22 August 2019 Author Posted 22 August 2019 Seriously still no Starc in the Australia squad? What's going on there?
