5 things (For Summer)

I think we'd need to sell Maguire to sign Tielemans so it's no downgrade imo. He's been poor this season

Its a downgrade because Tarkowski is shit, if we sell maguire I'd prefer us to give benkovic or soyuncu the opportunity. I've no idea how Tarkowski even gets near the England squad there are much better options about

Posted

1 - buy Tielemans.

2 - Sell Slimani, Silva, King (sadly), Jakupovic. Loan out/sell James, Kaputska, Diabate, Elder

3 - buy a young, hungry, up and coming striker to learn from Vardy in the hope he can take in his mantle when Vardy starts to fade

4 - Another winger if we clear out some players above

5 - keep Chilwell (I think Maguire’s off this season and would prefer to keep him, but we’ll need the money for Tielemans and a striker)

Id also like European football in 2020-21 but I think this lot needs to happen first so we can clear some deadwood to give the squad more depth and become more competitive. Success with results should follow success off the pitch...

1) Lionesses to win World Cup

2) England to win cricket World Cup

3)England regain Ashes

4) Sign Che Adams from Brum

5) World peace...

1. Sign Tielemans

2. Keep Chilwell

3. Add 1st team quality winger (I'd like to look at France or Germany for this - we should be able to offer more money than a just-below top tier comparative squad)

4. Sell Maguire only if Man Utd reach asking price, otherwise keep and loan CB #4 (with Morgan becoming #4)

5. Sign Striker to spell Vardy (him and Nacho can battle out for that other spot - haven't completely quit on Kelechi despite his mare thus far).

I love the construction of this team, minus a lot of the deadwood which will be clear after the contracts run down. Hope a few more youth players step up this coming season into the bottom part of the roster. Keep spending down to support the new training grounds.

I’m not a fan of Gray’s but the very first thing you’d do this summer is sell Gray? lol have a day off

Sign Adams, Zaha, Tielemans

Sell Gray, Nacho, Mendy, Slimani

Nacho and Slimani will be nigh on impossible even at 5 mill each I think. Could get decent money for Gray and Mendy to help cost of buys.

1) Sign Tielemans

2) Sell Maguire and replace him with Tarkowski

3)Build a statue for Vichai

4) Sign a good backup striker for Vardy

5) Swap the family stand and the Kop

Prefer a striker who would challenge for Vardy's spot in a one striker formation. Competition all over the field, pls.

F**k everything else that goes on this summer, why is it taking the club so long to build something in remembrance of what Vichai did for our club/community.

Why do we need to sign another CB when we've got two highly rated CBs waiting in the wings to partner Evans and Morgan as further cover.

Give them their chance.

Brendan will know if Benkovic is good enough. And if he feels hes not ready to be a regular starter alongside Evans then we will get another cb and probably loan out Soyuncu. Whilst Wes is good to have around the squad, we do not want to see him play many games next season.

Nacho to a league 1 club? You're having a laugh right? No one is wanting someone with his wages there and he's too good for that league.

Some of the suggestions are decent, a couple a bit dubious.

Well I would imagine that we would be paying pretty much all of his wage. I doubt that any Prem team would be willing to take him on loan and there could be a conflict of interest there anyway, if he happens to hit his stride for them.

If the club who receives him isn't really contributing much financially, then that should set things up so that we can tailor the deal to suit our needs I.e if he hits form then we can recall easily without hassle. It's unrealistic and very unlikely that he would end up at a league 1 club, and there's no guarantee that he'd do particularly well at that level either over the course of a long season. But it was just a suggestion, and only in the case that we couldn't find anyone willing to take him in the championship. If, like you say, he is way too good for that level and he ended up banging them in for fun, then surely that'd also be a good thing because what he needs most right now is some confidence.

Ultimatey my suggestions on Nacho aim at trying to get something out of him as a player. Right now he isn't really worth much to the club at all despite the huge outlay on him. He isn't contributing much and so I think if we do loan him out, the idea is to get him playing again, as to boost his market value so that we can recoup some of the money spent or so that he comes back as a stronger player, ready to contribute to the first team here. Are the best sides in the championship going to go for someone who by all accounts, has been absolutely dire for us? Not only because of a lack goals or assists but also because of his work rate and 'professionalism' (Nigeria's boss not me). I can't imagine that he would be the first name on the team sheet at any of the clubs seriously vying for promotion. It'd be a huge risk for them and so that's why I'd be open to the idea of sending him lower down. If he comes back having bagged 20 goals - great! If he comes back having struggled and not even able to break into the first team, then at least we can decide to move him on and cut our losses.

If we're going to have statues I can think of 30 players at least that I'd prefer before one for an owner.

Banks seems a good start.

I think you rightly have to consider the families feelings to do this as well

Posted

1) Tielemans

2) Top quality right winger, preferably one with a decent goalscoring record

3) Keep Chilwell, Maguire, Maddison, Ricardo

4) Sell Slimani

5) Back up striker
