Arsenal fans will love that

Aaron Ramsey is somewhere in Turin with a sudden sense of karmic retribution...

Ouch... wish Shawcross a speedy and full recovery. I know he’s not a City player but that’s a nasty injury - obvious fracture-dislocation of his ankle (you can see that from the direction his foot was pointing in during the slide) so he’ll be out for a few months I reckon

Very interesting half of football to watch lots of good play but also with some concerns.

Good

- Lovely crisp interchange at times.

- High press game working very well at times. The team press as a unit, squeeze the play in and force the turnover.

- Playing the ball out from the back to keep the initiative and momentum when possible.

- Making lots of chances.

Bad

- When Stoke have beaten our high press, we've been completely open. We will concede a number of goals from a turnover this season.

- Getting into trouble when playing out from the back. Like I said in an earlier post, this is very reminiscent of Rodgers at Swansea where Vorm got caught for a few goals. But over the course of a season lead to a better attack, so it's something we need to adjust too, even if Kasper has made unforced errors today.

- Not clinical enough, just like last season. This is my biggest worry for the season about to start. Do we have the goals in the team to make a push for top 6? Vardy we know can score, Perez maybe can. But it feels to me like we badly miss another clinical player in the front 3.

- Lost our shape about midway through the game. Tielemans not as influential today and I feel it's because he's drifted around more than he did in the previous game.

Overall though it's quite a fascinating game to watch, just to see how our style of play progresses from game to game.

Looked very similar to Amartey's injury.

Only saving grace is it looked to be sitting 'normally' at the end, whereas Amarteys was in a weird angle

I think it's been pretty poor to be honest. Some neat combinations at time but far too casual and slow in the midfield. Perez has not had the best half. Hope for better in the second. Good for Kasper to save the pen but it was a poor effort.

Not nice on Shawcross.

Anyone know which management teams are at which game? I''m assuming Brendan Rogers is at Stoke, but who's managing the Rotherham game? Kolo? Stowell?

Reminds me a bit of Cowboys player Allen Hurns' anckle injury in last year's playoffs.

Stowell's with Brendan at Stoke. So probably Kolo.

Chris Davies is managing at Rotherham, according to the Mercury.

Anyone thinking this Diamond is slightly... Off.

Seems like Maddison is top, Albrighton left, Tielemans right and Hamza bottom.

Feel like Tielemans should be top, Maddison left, Albrighton right, Hamza at base so Tielemans can get into the game a bit more.
