Yes N'Didi Posted 1 August 2019 Posted 1 August 2019 Following on from last seasons thread, thought it would be mildly interesting to track sell outs again this year. Findings from 18/19 Season: - 16/21 Sold Out - 15/21 reached General Sale - Fastest selling away match: Newport County (2nd Bournemouth, 3rd Huddersfield) - As a member or STH with no previous away matches, it was possible to purchase tickets for 18/21 games. 19/20 Season Chelsea - On sale to members (no general sale) *moved to a Sunday 4pm Sheffield United - SOLD OUT (310+ STH) Manchester United - Liverpool - Southampton - *moved to a Friday night Palace - Brighton - Villa - Manchester City - West Ham - Newcastle - Burnley - Wolves - Norwich - Watford - Everton - Arsenal - Bournemouth - Tottenham - *1st visit to new ground
Stadt Posted 1 August 2019 Posted 1 August 2019 I reckon there'll be more this season, there's more optimism in the support now after the malaise under Shakespeare and Puel.

I fully expect there to be more, as you said there's a lot of excitement around the club right now
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 August 2019 Posted 1 August 2019 18/21 is surprising to me However with the amount of dross served up especially after the Fa cup exit, I feel it definitely put people off
Bayfox Posted 4 August 2019 Posted 4 August 2019 30 tickets left for the Bridge. Surely they will go before the game.
Foxes1 Posted 12 August 2019 Posted 12 August 2019 Manchester Utd sold out didn't reach members sale date.
Yes N'Didi Posted 12 August 2019 Author Posted 12 August 2019 19/20 Season Chelsea - SOLD OUT (Members - no general sale) *moved to a Sunday 4pm Sheffield United - SOLD OUT (310+ STH) Manchester United - SOLD OUT (All STH) Liverpool - Southampton - *moved to a Friday night Palace - Brighton - Villa - Manchester City - West Ham - Newcastle - Burnley - Wolves - Norwich - Watford - Everton - Arsenal - Bournemouth - Tottenham - *1st visit to new ground
Fox92 Posted 12 August 2019 Posted 12 August 2019 Old Trafford reached members last season but then again it was a Friday night. Both Manchester clubs are great away days.
billyn88 Posted 12 August 2019 Posted 12 August 2019 Got lucky in the members ballot for both Sheffield United and Man United, if we do well this season that may well be the only way of getting tickets without an ST for most aways.
DerbyshireFox Posted 12 August 2019 Posted 12 August 2019 Looks like it’s going to be much harder this year. Bottom of season ticket priority I managed to get to all bar two away games in the league (discounting going to Huddersfield thanks to another member on here). Missing two as it stands already out of the first three. Still aiming for as many as I can this season. I fear Anfield might go the same way as Man United and Sheffield United. The price of expectation I guess
Guest worth_the_wait Posted 13 August 2019 Posted 13 August 2019 Don't panic just yet; it should calm down. There's always a bit of early enthusiasm. Chelsea is a day out in London (always popular), Sheff Utd is a ground most people haven't been to for a while. And Man Utd is also always popular. Bring on Southampton Friday night!

The price of expectation I guess Man Utd at 3pm on a Saturday, think that's only happened once since we came up so was always going to sell out early. Likewise loads of people on here said Sheff Utd would be a popular away day. Wait till the likes of Burnley, Soton, Watford etc should be easy to get tickets.

Agree with Burnley and Southampton, but Watford? That is a small allocation and easy to get to, Usually a popular one. Last year, anyone could go to any game but I think this season will be different, a lot will stop at All STH or member levels. I bet the club will only put matches on general sale if they are poor in attendance figures. Another one that is normally easy to get to is Everton away, can't remember the last time we took the full allocation.

Probably the year before for the 19th December one which sent us top at Christmas.

It's the only time I have been able to get up there. I like the ground (in the old school sense, fully aware it's out of date). We played there in the FA Cup one year too, 16/17 season? Musa scored twice I think as we came from behind.

It was absolutely baltic, we were utter garbage for 70 minutes and in the space of about 6 minutes Musa became unplayable, scored a brace, and we left him on the half-way line until we won the ball back and slung it forwards for him to chase and waste time. Classic.

UniFox21 Posted 29 August 2019 Posted 29 August 2019 Brilliant so far, every game that's been a normal time and not moved has sold out in season ticket quotas.

Rumours that it has due to Cov game being moved from Sunday to Saturday (can't have Birmingham City and Villa ground have matches on same day).

Brighton - Villa - *moved to a Sunday Manchester City - West Ham - Newcastle - Burnley - Wolves - Norwich - Watford - Everton - Arsenal - Bournemouth - Tottenham - *1st visit to new ground With Brighton on course to sell out, so far only one game from our first 10 aways hasn't sold out, and that was a Wednesday night treck up to Newcastle in the cup.
Winchesterfox Posted 16 October 2019 Posted 16 October 2019 Southampton away selling out on a Friday night is decent. Anyone got a sense of whether Brighton will reach all season ticket holders?
