One of my closest friends is Muslim and him and his family are all big Boris supporters.

On a serious note though, you think your anededotal evidence of a friend tops the evidence of an investigation from the main Jewish publication in the country and that gives you the right to call it a load of nonsense? Embarrassing.

If only most folks trusted expert studies over anecdotal opinion in all areas, rather than just the ones that satisfy their confirmation bias.

We can but dream.

Expert studies and politically motivated publications are obviously interchangably credible sources.

As is of course spending an internet career labelling any question of discrimination as being irrelevant on the basis of “Being offended on behalf of others” - until of course it suits your new agenda of prejudice.

But should we all really be robots and just refuse to vote for Jeremy Corbyn or to leave the European Union because the experts say so?

Democracy involves the right to make a stupid decision if you want to do so. The experts aren't always right.

The British people have a pretty good history of choosing to punish themselves ever since the peasants revolt.

To be honest I was referring more towards hard scientific studies but yep, this is a fair point.

Yeah, that's the dark side of freedom - that freedom of choice also includes the freedom to choose death, oppression and destruction.

Which is of course fine at the individual level (personal choice affecting the person alone should be pretty close to absolute), but when a democratic system either through ignorance or malice (usually the former as opposed to the latter) elicits to choose the above to act upon people who actually see where the future is heading and don't want any of it then it's safe to say there's something of a flaw there.

People who use their freedom of choice to actively endanger the lives and safety of others - whether it's the religious passing various anti-demographic rights legislation, public health issues such as anti-vaxxers and the like, or even (yes, I'm going there again) ignorance of the way humanity is abusing the Earths climate and the possible consequences thereof - demonstrate quite clearly why such unlimited freedom of choice can destroy just as easily as it can create - more easily, if history is any judge.

Be fair, Doc. They're very diverse by age and gender.

They're even species-diverse: a dog, an image of a flower - and a Neanderthal man fist-pumping in the centre.

No sheep, admittedly, but I'm sure some of them are very friendly with sheep.

I did wonder if they would get a manifesto bounce this time but the clue might have been in how "normal" they were trying to show it was, total opposite to 2017 when they wanted to show how radical it was.

Delighted that everyone I spoke to today thought the BBC thing was a farce last night as well - things like that can backfire.

Yes let’s ignore the Jewish MPs forced out, the myriad complaints and the 83% polled by the Jewish Chronicle because your mate isn’t fussed.  Cool.

The editing by the BBC has become quite scary over the last few weeks...this is just the latest 'edit'.

Yet despite this are allowing actual Labour staff on to tell lies, promote Corbyn and criticise Boris.

Well they do have form for that, like letting that fake priest actress onto newsnight to promote Theresa May's Deal BUT...

I would say there is a big difference between not properly vetting audience members (or people sneaking through the checks) and actually physically editing footage in the newsroom as we see here, as at the cenotaph, the deleted Priti Patel interview and the deleted footage of Boris beeing boo'd and rushed out of the hospital on the first day of his GE campaign. It's pretty sinister to be honest.

......and allowing actual Conservative representatives to appear on QT yesterday attacking Corbyn, having appeared on QT in several other locations to attack other Labour politicians:

Here he is on Conservative Home:

So, it looks as if the BBC is guilty of poor audience vetting across the board, if anything.....not a commie plot against your brave boys in blue!

Keep up your paranoid conspiracy theories, propaganda and mud slinging, though, Matt. You only discredit your own cause.
