Fox in the North Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 In terms of preference in the next round I’d go: Colchester Oxford Aston VillaEverton/Manchester United Liverpool/Manchester City Ive grouped the last 4 in pairs as I can’t really split them.

Would be prefer we got Colchester or Oxford though

Surely Liverpool would be more favourable than Man City considering how little respect Liverpool are showing to this competition.
StriderHiryu Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 I fancy our chances against anyone this season! I actually think it might be better to get one of the bigger teams in the next round now rather than the final. E.g. we'd play Liverpool reserves in the QF's, but a senior team in the finals.

st albans fox Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 Pointless thread .........we know we will get Man City ......
Dan Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 No point even drawing it. We'll get Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool will dodge each other, Colchester will draw Oxford.

Dunno you know, speaking to my mate about this. I reckon if Klopp got Liverpool to the final playing the reserves, he’s the type of odd ball to just say **** it and play the same team in the final too, maybe with the addition of one of the regular front three.
HighPeakFox Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 Can one bet on the outcome of the draw? Only asking out of mathematical interest.

Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 Man City twice in the same week then
foxfanazer Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 Gonna be embarrassing when Liverpool accidentally win this cup. I'd take any team at home except for Man City I think, so long as they get a tricky tie elsewhere

Definitely possible, but we've seen Man City take it seriously come final time.

Would be a decent midweek game to get to as well.
MarriedaLeicesterGirl Posted 30 October 2019 Posted 30 October 2019 It seems that since Liverpool are in the FIFA club tournament, their quarterfinal will be moved to the week of Jan. 6...according to Wikipedia.

If true that would be the midweek after the fa cup 3rd round.
