Mahrez by a country mile and his fellow professionals thought so to.

Worthington, Guppy and Cambiasso also strong contenders for second best.

Junior Lewis. I think both of his feet were left.

Arthur Rowley's left footed shots used to break bones , crossbars , nets etc.etc. and records of course.  Lenny Glover was really good you know and Mahrez is a powderpuff compared to them.

We look back at players like Guppy with affection and rightly so, quality player. However, in my lifetime, Mahrez is the best.

His behaviour towards the end shouldn't negate his brilliance in the promotion, great escape and title winning seasons.

The Algerian Prince would fit very nice in our current side too. :scarf:

Edit: Wortho and Glover way before my birth.

It's Mahrez.

As someone said earlier, anyone who said different is either trying to be a edgy has a chip on their shoulder really.

Guppy, Worthington, Cambiasso and Fuchs were all great too, but Mahrez is a different level to them.

David Gibson, was considered to be one of the finest and most skilful players in Leicester's history, they nearly won the double in the 60's he was a left footed dynamo.

What a day that was. Far too few people were there too, can't have been more than 1,500 in the away end

Yeah was only a small end for such an important game, not sure if that's all we were given at the time.

Good end though, made a lot of noise.

Clearly not the best player, but as for biggest left footed icon you'd go Steve Walsh.

First name that popped into my head.. Depends on how you define best. We've not had many better centre backs?

Mahrez has been the best leftie we have had,  for his sublime skills and the 2015-16 season.  But my own personal fave was Leonardo Glover himself.

What are you talking about? He's been one of Man City's and probably one of Europe's best players this season - and he's been keeping Sterling out of the side this season he's been playing so well.

Mahrez's skill is undoubted but it takes more than that to be a great player , some of his performances for us attidudewise were disgraceful while Lennie Glover gave his heart and soul for the club . I would never want him near this club again.
