Just proves that the SPL is nothing but a farmer’s league. League Two is a genuine step up. 

 

Celtic and Rangers are equally hopeless, and glad neither of them makes it into the UCL.

I honestly dont understand why everyone creams themselves over Rangers & Celtic, they are at best championship teams

 

Scottish football is just as bad as the Irish league.

 

You put Celtic and rangers in the prem and they would struggle to stay up and be battling relegation every season

 

So i dont understand why their fans and the pundits believe they are UCL teams

 

Its even going wrong for Rodgers and now hes not able to win every game every week, cos its so easy, people are calling for his head, same with Russell Martin at Rangers that appointment is a total joke. Rodgers went to Celtic for the glory

Celtic did well in the champions league last year and finished above Man City,  Rangers have done well in the Europa over the last 5 years, so there is pedigree there.

 

Trying to put them in the EPL to make comparisons is daft. 

Both teams would look considerably differant lining up in the EPL compared to 

 

For every person saying "Scottish league is a farmers league etc", you find another one saying "EPL is sanitised corporate rubbish". 

 

It depends what you want in your club. I'd argue there's a greater link to fans and the local community up North because they realise without fans they are dead.

 

Clubs down here in the EPL and championship don't have to rely on fans for revenue and don't have to engage locally as much. I've often seen that complaint on here.

Tom English was giving it both barrels on Radio Scotland last night. 

 

Pre the managers post match interview he was asked "what could Russell  Martin say that would give the Rangers fans some positivity over the next few months?". 

 

"I quit"   was his answer 😀😀

Reckon the Old Firm Derby will be a 'drab' 0-0, but with at least 2 sent-off and both managers to leave..

Their teams now would struggle in the prem, but if they had prem revenue they wouldn't struggle anymore than most clubs in the bottom half.

Can’t see anything other than a Celtic win rangers are terrible at the minute. Probably a big Celtic win as well just to make it slightly more boring than the league already is
