His game was done as soon as we swapped Barnes for Castagne. Playing with wingbacks completely took away the options of passes forward and he had to drop deeper and deeper.

 

He must be so fed up. Especially with all the shit he was getting from the Brighton fans.

Just been interviewed on Sky about the start to the season and leadership at the club

 

"We don't have the leadership group, it's not called that anymore. It's a club council. The players vote for who they want in it. I consider myself a senior player these days"

About 12 levels above the rest of the squad.

 

When was the last time a player won our player of the season award two years running? Won’t even be a contest this season surely

Being asked about playing for England when you’ve just been drummer 6-2 isn’t exactly helping. 
 

He’s clearly disappointed. 
 

Even as a fan. If that’s your dream, you sort of know you need to jump ship. If this free fall continues, he’ll go.
