Yeah I accept it's not quite the tap-in it looks when paused, and like most actions in football it's almost certainly a lot more difficult than it looks, but it is nonetheless a chance from about six yards about and he's missed the target despite watching the cross all the way onto his foot and being completely unmarked. It sort of looks like he hits it with his studs - the thing that stood out to me about him when he first broke through was his technique and composure. Not only has he not really developed at all physically, those qualities aren't really in evidence much these days either.

Again, it's immaterial if either Bobby or Daka don't just stand there watching it, or if we created more chances and thus could afford to miss one or two. Still, I do fancy he should probably not put the ball wider of the goal than it is when he receives it.

100% agree, it's a chance from 6 yards out that we should be scoring from, either Thomas finishing near post or crossing to Daka or Bobby for a tap in, but Thomas didn't do either or show any composure.

Even with a perfect cross I wouldn’t have much confidence in Daka scoring either, he'd probably miss-hit tamely into the  keepers arms.

There was people on here who said him signing up for a further 4 years was a good thing.

The kid is pony and he won't ever get better. No right foot. Weak as piss, can't tackle, cross, pass and has nothing about him

This club never learns

whoever said that needs their head wobbling, cos it is, look at the last couple of games for a start this season for a start

hes easily the weakest link within the whole team not just LB

sorry but VK is better than Thomas at this point, MC NEEDS to drop Thomas, for the good for the team

you either give VK or a Aluko a go cos Thomas IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Leaves space behind every game. Preston exploited it and now Hull are.

Doesn’t matter though because he’s local.

Pompey did it, Charlton did it, every single team we've played have exposed Thomas

He’s awful. But the truth is we have nobody better. Play Aluko and let him grow. Thomas has already reached his ceiling. And it’s a low-beam, Elizabethan cottage. 😞
