Rehan well and truly blown his chance of becoming a regular in the side, looks like he has never held a bat before for England

Yeah have a feeling we won’t be seeing him for some time now, others seem to be progressing at a time he’s going backwards

Presuming you could use the pitch for the current India-WI one day match as replacement for part of the M25.

WI make 405 off their 50, India chase it with more than 6 overs to spare with Gill scoring a monster.

That is what they call a batting paradise !

Rehan unsurprisingly dropped by England for the Tri Series.

Crane in as understudy to Rashid, great chance for him to force his way into the South Africa test squad too.

First test between South Africa and Australia starts tomorrow.
Apparently there have been record sales of sand paper in South Africa this week………

Looking forward to this. Should be a great series. Plenty of niggle, sledging will be next level. SA to just about edge it, 2-1.

As long as those cheating bastards don’t win it.
After Australia lost a test at home to Bangladesh recently it gives me some hope for the ashes next year.

Looking forward to it too, Saffers in SA against good opposition is always an interesting watch.

Do think Oz are there for the taking next year, and touring SA themselves will be a good challenge for England this winter.

Shame this didn't start on the weekend to have more in

It's sad if the first day of a test series between these 2 days sides can't get a decent crowd in. Sure Pollock said on the sky podcast that it's the school holidays too. The fact that England have the vast majority of tickets for our tour says how much the locals care or can afford to watch test cricket.

Looking at the sides, I still think the Aussies look better if they can be perform, particularly in the bowling department. It's just whether they can back it up in a busy schedule.

I think Pollock said the first test isn't in the holidays but the latter two might be?

With some decent marketing you'd feel that this should be translated into better County Championship attendance.
