That 16th over from Jordan has seen us off, in reality. We were well in control until then and miles ahead. But fair play to New Zealand.

Still feel like they get underrated as a team yet they regularly out-perform sides that are (on paper) better.

Unfortunately Jordan did a Spurs and bottled it. Well done to NZ, hopefully they can go the whole way and win it. To be the best 20/20 and test team in the world, whilst getting to the final of the 50 over game, will be a phenomenal achievement with their limited resources.

Looks like Neesham was the key in the end, then.

 

Can't help but feel that England threw it away after having the situation under control but kudos to NZ - as others have said, if you're going to go out to one team, it would be them. Hope they win it.

The fast bowling department was always a worry when someone went after them, they've managed to protect them pretty well up until the South Africa game. Jordan has done some good stuff for England but unfortunately it only takes one really bad over to swing a game.

 

Like most, I hope New Zealand win it now. To be World Test Champions, 50 Over finalists and at least T20 finalists with a lot of the same players across all formats is pretty cool.

Thought it was an absolutely brilliant act of sportsmanship where NZ didn't take the run after collision.

 

Theyre a class act and I hope they win. You compare that with some of the mankadding and overly aggressive nonsense from other teams and you see they play the game in an absolutely brilliant fashion.

 

Hate to see England lose but you have to say NZ deserve it.
