If he was watching that - which I’m sure he was - the performances of Ricardo, Soyuncu and, especially, Ndidi should encourage JJ to believe that even after a lengthy layoff you don’t lose your talent.

Like Brendan said, it might make you come back even stronger.

Operation on Thursday to repair ACL.

Surprised they have waited so long to be honest, unless it was touch and go to see if he actually needed one. Which if true hopefully means that it is only a slight tear rather than a full rupture.

When it’s going to be a long road to recovery, waiting a few days to get the right surgeon won’t make a big difference. I agree that it likely means he can’t be in a lot of pain from it. I guess we have to wait for the op to be done and the surgeon to give an assessment

May have had to wait for the swelling on the knee to go down.  In which case it will be pretty bad.

Gutted for JJ, that's a long road to recovery 😭

He’s young fit and I’m sure Leicester will have the top Orthopaedic surgeon repairing his ACL he’ll be back sooner than some think probably be about August - September with great results and strict rehabilitation!
