Maybe I am dreaming this, but I think i recall Mohammed Ali doing a pre match pitch visit at Filbet street probably about 1980 ( i think against Birminham City) .

 

Any one else recall this ?. or does anyone have a list of celebrities who have gone on to the pitch before the match or at half time?

I vaguely remember Jack Whitehall on the pitch at HT once. I think he was there with his mum as she's a Leicester fan, and Birch found out and got him on the pitch. No idea what game.

I met Jack Whitehall after he was at one of our games. Believe he was on the pitch at half time.

Selby, quite rightly always gets a good reception.

 

Agree about the Riders, they are an absolute institution in British Basketball. They should be celebrated more. They should put their games on straight after the City with some sort of ticket package/travel/food. The link up would be superb.

That bloke that did 'Return of the Mack' - Mark someone or other. I think he was from Leicester to be fair, but the pre-match/half time appearance was almost as prescriptive and cringeworthy as that pair of unflushable turds Tom Meghan and Serge Pizzorno during the 2014-15 season.
