Webbo Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 I've never doubted we have a chance. It's 50/50. No reason to think we can't do it. 2

STUHILL Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 Anyone like how Arsenal set up tonight? Sit deep, win the ball and break fast. They rode their luck at times but also looked capable of nicking a 2nd too. Not sure how Rodgers will play it, but watching tonight might have given him food for thought. 2

I expect that will be exactly as he'll play it. And we'll win with it. (despite a lot of complaints) 1

I totally get they are a top team with a very good manager, but I still think they are riding the new manager bounce, and will hit some speed bumps. Just hope it is on Saturday! We are often at our best when touted as the underdogs! We will need a bit of luck, or Chelsea slightly off colour, but we are capable of winning the FA Cup on Saturday... Let that sink in for a minute! I think the West Brom defeat, 5-2 at home, was one of those road bumps

An hour of how they got there with highlights of all the rounds up to the final. Then they'd be interviewing the the players on the coach to the ground and around the pitch, then half hour of Jimmy Hill talking shit before kick off. It'd almost make it worth not being able to go. There is build-up on the BBC One from 12pm, with Football Focus, The Road to Wembley, Classic FA Cup moments involving Leicester and Chelsea, an interview with Ashley Cole (record FA Cup winner with 7 wins), followed by build-up of the game from 4.15pm. 1 1

This is the first time they have no real excuses, perhaps a slightly weakened side, but still a lot of their big hitters on there and against what has been a very poor Arsenal albeit a better one tonight. Tuchel has been rightly lauded for weeks now, some pundits saying they are arguably the best team in Europe on current form. Tonight would have definitely taken some shine off that and such perfect timing for us! I'm looking for any angle here! 1

cruzFOX Posted 12 May 2021 Posted 12 May 2021 Arsenal were horrible with ball retention today not sure if that was the plan but it sure didn't look like them. Chelski had most of the ball in the arses half lol. Painful to watch. Glad for the result but we won't play like that no way no how or atleast on the day we will defend mice better and turn that into better attacks. I'm wondering what's going on inside the tiny heads of Kante' and Chilwell as they prepare to face us on Saturday? They know our history and how much the fa cup will mean to us than chelski. Will their loyalties be divided even slightly? Heck they have the champions league final to look forward to a much bigger prize! If they do win I expect some humility and not any gloating. Hope it desert come to that we wallop them proper!

A win on Saturday will be hugely unexpected by most of the footballing world - apart from us. It is seen as less likely than Chelsea winning the CL, and that, in reality, is unlikely if Man City do what they can do. But, it’s a funny old game. Can't understand comments like this at all. Yes, we are not in great form, but we are ahead of Chelsea in the table, and despite the vast amount of money they've spent are they actually that good? Kante is back to his immense best, Mount plays out of his skin each game, but where they spent the money namely Werner, Havertz, Ziyech have been largely underwhelming. Would any of their guys get in our full strength team? Serious question. Mendy or Kasper? Chilwell or Castagne? Rudiger or Fofana? Silva or Soyuncu Christensen or Evans? James or Ricardo? Kante or Ndidi? Kovacic or Tielemans Mount or Maddison Werner or Barnes Pulisic or Vardy Tammy or Kelechi They will be favourite cos theyre bigger etc but really nothing we should be afraid of at all. They recently lost to a poor Arsenal and relegated West Brom, it's more than winnable. We are 3rd in the league 4 points of 2nd!!!! We aren't the massive underdogs some are making out. 12 1
